“Damn, woman.” His head dropped back with a laugh. “Full of surprises.”

We showered, but by the time we were done, Finn’s cock throbbed in need. We had sex before I left him dressing.

Downstairs, I said hello to Chef Dan. “Thanks so much for working this weekend.”

He gave me a side hug. “It’s an honor. It’s my birthday gift to you. I prepared some of your favorite foods.”

“Well, it’s one I’ll always cherish.”

I went outside to make sure everything was ready to go. Yesterday, I helped the maids, Jasmine and Mable, get all the rooms ready along with the washrooms. I expected my friends around noon, except Emily and Jessica had a habit of never showing on time. Lindsey hadn’t been feeling well with the pregnancy, so she bowed out.

The weather was in my favor with sun and temperatures in the high 60s. I wore jean shorts and a form-fitting t-shirt. Chef Dan had set up a luncheon buffet outside. I filled large metal bins with ice and added alcoholic beverages, pop, juices, and water. Right on time, the doorbell rang as Finn made his way down the stairs. He opened the door for Natalie and Madison. Their eyes never left him, walking in with their suitcases.

Finn introduced himself, and they did the same, gaping at him. His face blushed as he offered to take their overnight bags. As handsome as he was, I found it endearing how he sometimes got embarrassed by the way people reacted to him. Maybe it was the fact they were my friends, but it was cute. I ran and gave them each a hug.

Natalie whispered loudly, “Damn, girl. He’s hotter in real life.” I snickered and escorted them upstairs behind Finn. “Nice ass, too.”

Finn put the suitcases down and said, “There are three rooms on this side and another two on the other.” Pointing in the opposite direction, he said, “That’s our bedroom. Since you arrived first, you get first picks.” Natalie and Madison browsed in and out of the rooms, peeping into ours, too.

“I like the room across from yours,” Natalie said.

Madison walked two rooms over. “I’ll take this one.”

Finn put their suitcases in the rooms and left.

Madison walked around the upper floor and then we sat on her bed. “This house is gorgeous. I didn’t want to act crazy when he first opened the door. It was bad enough I couldn’t take my eyes off him. He is model material.”

“It is, and he is. When I first came here, the outside of the house mesmerized me, let alone the inside.”

Natalie joined us on Madison’s bed. “The house is outstanding, but I’d rather hear about Finn. How is he in bed?”

I smacked her arm. “Nat! No way!”

“Come on.” She flopped down on her back. “Since I can’t have your life, I’d at least like to know what I’m missing.”

Saved by the bell. I ran to answer it, assuming Emily and Jessica had arrived. Instead, it was Peter and Jared.

Finn came up behind, placed his hands on my shoulders, and asked, “What are you guys doing here?”

They both greeted me and then Jared said, “Word got out about your fight with Kye. We wanted to catch up and find out what actually happened.”

I invited them in. Nat and Maddie came down the stairs. Peter glanced at them, eyes lingering longer on Nat’s. My smile widened, thinking how great it would be for them to hook up. I liked Peter, and he was looking to settle down. His easy-going personality would balance out Nat’s craziness. After introductions, we headed onto the patio.

In an open-back halter-top and shorts, Nat walked along the buffet table, running her long, painted nails across it, and stopped at the drinks. She turned to me. “You went all out, Wren. I feel bad. This is your birthday and here you are doing all the work.”

My hand waved in the air. “Don’t worry about it. Chef Dan did most of the work.”

Maddie stretched out on a lawn chair, sunglasses on, shoes kicked off, and tipped her beer bottle toward us. “This is going to be a wicked weekend.”

An hour later, Em and Jess made their appearance. We did the bedroom routine and met everyone else outside. I made sure there were enough plates and silverware. Finn snuck up, wrapped his arms around my waist, burying his face into my neck.

“Do you mind if Jared and Peter stick around?”

I twisted my head enough to kiss him on the cheek. “Not at all. I like them. The more the merrier.”

His tongue glided along the rim of my ear. “Damn, you make my dick hard.”

I rotated to face him, pressing my forehead to his. “It was only about four hours since we had sex.”
