“I’d rather be wide awake for it,” she said, jabbing me with her words.
Lyra
I closedmy eyes to try sleeping again.
Kodan startled me when he grabbed me like that, but in truth, my panties were sopping wet. His touch sent shock waves through my body, showing me things I’d never felt before. His entire body enveloping me while I was on his lap was too much. I could feel his strong sigma energy radiating to me and down between my legs. Even though I’d taken my heat suppressant, I was worried it wouldn’t work against this sigma.
I had never gone into heat before, and I was terrified of it. When an omega went into heat, they could only think about getting rutted and knotted constantly.
I was learning that Kodan was a sigma that I couldn’t mess around with. He knew what he wanted and took what he wanted.
As I tried to sleep, I couldn’t help but focus on his rough hands pawing me and his stone penis pressing against my bottom.
Even though I disliked him, my omega body had a mind of its own. My body wanted him inside of me as soon as possible. To quench the ache deep inside.
Luke leaned against the side of the pickup truck; his back turned toward us. I was going to sleep with three males tonight, and I had never slept with even one before.
At home, I was carefully watched throughout my entire life. I wasn’t allowed to date anyone or go to real school with all the other omegas and betas. Instead, I received private lessons at the palace, so my virginity was as intact as could be.
I had no idea if sex was going to be painful or if Kodan was going to take me roughly. He was excited, seeing how his hands hadn’t left my chest area. I wished I had talked more about this with my cousin, Yasmeen, who was happily mated to a pack.
I rubbedthe sleep out of my eyes. Today's events and the wedding crashed over me as I remembered everything.
I scrambled to get up, realizing I was still on Kodan’s lap.
“No need to panic. We're here,” said Kodan.
Realizing the truck had stopped, I disentangled myself from him and stood. I was greeted by a crowd of the half-human, half-wolf people I had seen attacking our city. My heart was in my throat as I backed away in a panic, crashing into Luke. They were barking and drooling at the mouth, their eyes on me.
“What’s happening?” I asked Kodan. They were looking at me like I was their next dish.
“They think you’re our new omega sacrifice,” said Kodan, rubbing his black beard, which was as curly as his hair.
“Am I going to be the new sacrifice? Do you sacrifice omegas? Is that a real thing?” I was panicking out of my mind.
“It’s a real thing."
“Are you going to let that happen to me?” I asked.
Luke stood protectively in front of me, brandishing his small gun.
Kodan jumped off the truck’s bed, waving at the people with both hands, and they began to quiet down. Voss came around the truck to join Kodan.
“She’s mine,” yelled Kodan, and the crowd began to boo at him. As I looked at the crowd, I was scared to get out of the truck. They all had long fur running down their arms and legs. Most of them didn’t have a stitch of clothing on them. Some of the women had pieces of cloth around their waists, but all of them were bare-breasted.
“Come on down,” Voss called to me. He had an excited gleam in his eyes. I bit my lip, looking at them. How were they going to protect me against the massive crowd?
I grabbed Luke’s hand instinctively.
“You can do this, Lyra,” Luke said.
“What if they kill me?”
“I won’t let them,” he said. “A lot worse will happen if you stay here.”
He was right. I had never met these Wild Wolfmen before, and they were unpredictable. Anything could happen to us.
“Do you have my back, Luke?”
