“Yes,” I said, smiling and crying in the rain. He slid the beautiful ruby ring studded with gold onto my finger and stood back up. He cradled my head and kissed me on the lips to the clapping and cheers of everyone around us. “I can’t wait for our wedding.”
“We’re getting married right now,” said Ryder with a grin.
Suddenly, I looked up and saw a group of workers hurry a fixture of a tall arch towards us, and suddenly, I was standing underneath an arch with flowers hanging down.
“What?” I said, laughing. I couldn’t believe my pack had done all this. I wanted to laugh and cry at the same time. I was so touched, and my heart had grown ten sizes right about now. Icouldn’t help laughing when I saw a clown rushing to us with a book in his hand. “Is he officiating?”
“Yes,” said Ryder.
Someone had stuck a tiara with a veil over my head before I could even process everything. It was happening so quickly, but I loved it anyway.
I would remember this forever for the rest of my life.
I was afraid of clowns, so when he touched my arm, I screamed, making my family and friends laugh.
But when I looked up, my heart dropped.
It was my idol Hayden Gray, smiling and removing the red rubber nose from his face.
Then I looked at Ryder in shock, to everyone’s amusement.
“What?” I said, stunned and shocked that he had gottentheHayden Gray to officiatemywedding. “I can’t believe it.”
“Believe it, my love, because we’re about to get married,” said Ryder, smiling at my shocked expression.
I took a few deep breaths and turned back to Hayden.
“I’ve always been a fan,” I said. “This means everything to me…”
“I am honored to officiate your wedding, Miss Lacy,” he said. His voice was husky-sounding and deep, just like his songs. I looked back at Ryder, and I could sense a bit of jealousy rising from him, but he kept it down with a smile. “Let’s get this wedding started, shall we?”
“Yes,” I said, nodding.
My heart was nearly bursting with all the love in the world for my men. Adrian looked happy as he stood before me, eyes glowing with excitement. Lucas looked serious as he gazed at me, and my heart pit-pattered in excitement. Cooper smiled gently at me, and when I looked at him, he winked, and my heart fluttered again.
“Ladies and gentlemen! We’re gathered here to celebrate the union of this beautiful omega to her hunky bodyguards,” said Hayden, and we all smiled as the audience chuckled. “I understand that the men have prepared their vows in advance. Why don’t you go first, Adrian? You’re the youngest and…possibly her favorite.” Hayden winked, pulling more laughter from the crowd.
Adrian cleared his throat, and I smiled kindly at him. He looked nervous, his face wet from the rain, which thankfully stopped. His cheeks burned bright red as he held a paper between his hands.
“Lacy,” he began. “From the moment I saw you, I couldn’t bear the thought of leaving your side. You may think I’m reckless, but you help me balance that. In your presence, I’m calmer and more fulfilled than I’ve ever been. I love you, babe.”
My smile grew wider, and tears came down my face. I loved Adrian with all my heart, and I couldn’t wait to tell him when it was my turn to speak. His eyes roamed to my lips, and I shook my head slightly so he knew that we needed to wait until after the ceremony. He gave me a lopsided grin, and I blushed.
“That was beautiful,” said Hayden, his voice catching. He pretended to blow his nose, but it squeaked instead. I rolled my eyes, and Ryder smiled. But I took a deep breath, instead taking it in as a memory I wanted to cherish forever.
“Lacy,” said Cooper. “You inspire me, baby. Your love of music and everything that goes with it inspires me to chase my dreams, too. Not only that…you bring light and happiness to my soul, especially when we sing together.”
I wanted to kiss him so badly right now, but I restrained myself until the very end. My tears were practically flowing by now, and a carnival worker quickly handed me a napkin.
“I’ve never felt as strongly for someone as I do you,” said Lucas, holding my hands in his. I breathed deeply, relishing theroll of his deep voice over me. “Since the moment I saw you, I knew you were mine, sweetheart. I can’t wait to grow our pack with you. Our omega and our jewel.”
I swallowed. It meant so much coming from Lucas. He was always so quiet, and I thought he secretly didn’t want me as his omega, so it was reassuring to hear this. Next, Ethan took my hands in his large, warm ones.
“From the moment I met you, my heart knew it had found its home. With you, I promise to love and cherish you every day for as long as we both shall live."
Lastly, it was Ryder, and my heart was literally beating out of control at this point.
“Lacy,” said Ryder, his gaze fully on mine. “Today, we choose you. From the moment I met you to the day I thought I lost you- you’ve constantly been on my mind. Every morning when I wake up, I think of you. I promise and promise on behalf of my pack that we will protect you until death do us part. I promise to cherish you every day and choose you for all the days to come.”
