His laughter followed her. “Liar!” He called through the closed door.

Yep, liar, liar, pants on fire, and hers were definitely smoldering. “Crap!” She’d forgotten her clothes. Embarrassed, she eased open the door. “I-uh-forgot my clothes.”

Walker stood there with his towel hanging low at his waist, with the other towel draped around his shoulders. He was holding her panties. “Do you need these?”

She snatched her panties from his hands. “I need my toiletries and my sundress.”

“Your sundress?” He reached for the hanger holding her dress. “Are you trying to kill me?”

“What?”

“A white sundress? Do you know what that does to a man?”

She shook her head, staring at him, confused.

“You are not that innocent,” his voice was gruff as he leaned against the door. The towel was tenting.

“I should get my shower.”

He grinned. “You do that. I’ll be right here waiting for you when you’re done.”

She closed the door and worried for a moment he might open it, but he didn’t. She wasn’t sure if she was relieved or disappointed. Kay hurriedly showered and washed her hair. Stalling, she dried her hair with the hotel hairdryer, applied her makeup, and put on her dress before exiting the bathroom. She opened the bathroom door, expecting to hear Walker’s gruff voice telling her to hurry. Instead, she heard his familiar growl. And here I’d been cowering in the bathroom like some wimp, and he was out cold. Shaking her head, she laughed at her own stupidity. Of course he passed out. He was exhausted. She stared at the broad expanse of naked chest and long, muscular legs. The towel was barely covering his assets, which started growing as she stared. She darted a look at his face as she realized the growling had stopped. He was staring back at her with hunger in his eyes. She bit her bottom lip to keep from drooling.

“If you’re going to keep staring like that, we will not make the dinner.”

Feeling like a deer caught in headlights, she blinked. “What dinner?”

He stood up, and his towel slid to the floor.

“Oh mama,” she breathed at the sight of him all hard and happy to see her.

“Kay?”

“Mmm?”

“If you don’t want this, you’d better run.”

She looked him up and down and shook her head. “Oh no, this is a fantasy come true. I just hope no one wakes me before you’re through.”

With a chuckle, he reached out and touched her, cradling her face in his long-fingered hands. He brushed his lips lightly over hers. “It’s a shame to mess up all of this perfection,” he grinned as he said, “but I like you much better when you’re hot and sweaty.”

“Yes, very hot and sweaty.” Her nipples pebbled, aching for his touch.

He stroked his hands down her neck to her shoulders, then moved around to cup her breasts. He toyed with the nipples as she leaned into him. “Your breasts are so perfect.”

Kay wasn’t sure if she was the first one to remove her clothes or if he was, but suddenly, they were both naked. “Oh shit, condoms?” Her face paled. She was on birth control, but there was more than pregnancy to be concerned about.

“Condoms? Oh shit, condoms.” He strode naked to his duffle and searched every pocket. He found a box and studied the label. “What the hell? Did you put these in here?”

She shook her head. “What is it?” Kay asked, moving close to his back to look over his shoulder. It was a box of colorful, ice cream flavored condoms. “Kinky.”

“They’re not mine. I don’t know where these came from.” He tossed them back in his bag and started searching frantically in all the pockets. “Hell, I don’t think I have even put any in my bag. It’s been so long since I…”

Kay reached around and snagged the box of condoms he’d discarded. “Well, looks like your fairy godmother presented us with some interesting gifts.” She giggled as she read the flavors.“There’s banana split and tutti-frutti. Oh, we need to try the tutti-frutti.”

He took the box from her. “They’re not mine. They may not be safe.”

She shrugged. “They’re unopened. I don’t care who they belonged to. They are ours now.” She snatched the box from his hand and opened it. “See, now they can’t be returned.”
