He’s not wrong. Could this work?“But we’re leaving in less than two months. I mean, I’m happy to enjoy this for that time, but?—”

“The company offered me Jacques’s position. With his wife’s uncertain recovery, he can’t even contemplate being on the road. He’s going to take a teaching job close to his home. He’s done traveling—possibly forever.”

“Oh.” I bit my lip. “So you’d be with us all the time?”

“Except during the breaks. I know you’re both from Toronto?—”

“We could totally make Vancouver our new home base.” I frowned, then turned to Kaden. “I might be talking out of turn.”

“Visiting our families is fine, but I’m tired of not having a place of my own.” He eyed Nick. “Just like that? One fuck and we’re a triad?”

“Two fucks,” I reminded him. I held his gaze. If he wasn’t in agreement, then I wouldn’t do this. “We can talk privately?—”

He shook his head. “No need. I know your heart and you know mine. I know you never…took lovers. I think we can agree that we’re done with our open relationship. I can stop wandering if I can get certain needs met.” His gaze fixed on Nick.

“Oh, you can bet I’ll meet all your needs.” His hand tightened on Kaden’s. “For both of you. And who knows? You might discover you like pain.”

I laughed. “We’re athletes. Our lives are full of pain.”

“True.” Nick pressed a kiss to my temple. “But I can show you the good kind of pain.”

“I’m intrigued.” I snagged the back of Kaden’s neck and dragged him in for a kiss.

His response assured me I was spot on. We’d found our new home.

After pulling away from our kiss, Kaden stretched over me.

Nick met him halfway.

They kissed.

Sealing our forever pact.
