“You don’t?—”
“Fucking hell, Kaden, Idoknow. Just like I know, no matter how angry you get, you’ll never strike anyone in anger.”
“Don’t tempt me.”
I arched an eyebrow.
“I, uh, meant him…” He gestured to where Nick had last been.
“You wouldn’t.” I poked his chest. “You kissed him.”
He flushed. “I shouldn’t have.”
I cocked my head.
“Consent.”
“Ah.” I snickered. “I think when he got into your personal space like that he was giving up the right to complain.” I considered. “I think he liked it.”
Kaden scratched his cheek. “I’d say so.”
“Maybe you can do it again.” I eyed him. “You are coming…right? Or do you have other companions?”
“No one but you.” He crowded me against a pillar.
I didn’t mind a bit.
“You’re mine, Yaz. I’m sorry you didn’t see that.”
“Oh, I did. But for the next two days, I’m his as well.”
Kaden groaned. “You’re going to be the death of me.”
I grinned. “Yes, but what a way to go…” With that, I headed to the dressing room for my costume change.

Kaden
As I watchedNick hoist Yaz into the air with scarlet rope and the most intricate knots I’d ever seen, I could admit to being damn impressed.
I’d assumed we’d come here, to his space, and fuck.
Nope.
Instead, we’d eaten a gourmet meal of roasted duck, asparagus, baby potatoes, and fresh-baked whole-wheat rolls.
And now? The most stunning suspension I’d ever witnessed. His movements as he’d tied her were graceful. Elegant.
She’d descended deep into subspace with each constriction.
Her ability to get lost within her own mind when sunk into pleasure was something I loved about her. Truth was, I loved a lot of things about her.
And you might’ve lost her. Hell, you might still lose her.
Given how far gone she was at the moment, I felt justified in worrying that she might choose a guy who could do this to her rather than a guy who wanted an open relationship so he could have sex with random strangers quite often.
How did you miss how unhappy she was?
