Ihave never been this sore in my life. If he wanted me to feel where he has been, mission fucking accomplished.
I cringe as try to sit down, gently. My asshole feels like it got assaulted by a mac truck. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed every fucking thing he did to me last night. The aftereffects, however, are not worth it.
“You okay, Eves? Did you start early?” Emily asks, smirking, knowing exactly what is wrong with me.
“Ha! Shut up!” I deadpan her before picking up my burger and take a large non-ladylike bite.
“Definitely Aunt Flo rearing her ugly head bro. You should probably take cover the rest of the trip.” Noah jokes, pushing Brixon’s shoulder.
I eye Brixon and dare him to breathe a word.
He has had to endure me complaining so much today that I don’t think he will ever touch my ass again.
Brixon smirks at me before turning to Noah with a serious look on his face, “Why do you have to be so insensitive. Cramps and a woman’s monthly hell is not something to joke about.” He keeps his expression serious, causing the table to erupt with laughter, including me, before he can’t contain it any longer and joins in.
“Very funny guys, ha, ha, laugh it up.” I shake my head as I take another bite, trying to hide my smirk.
“Do you need more Ibuprofen?” Brix asks sweetly, not laughing anymore. He feels bad that I am as sore as I am. I guess he didn’t expect me to feel like this.
What did he expect? Hell, what did I expect? That my asshole, that had never really had more than a finger mess with it, is pissed off at being stretched out all day and fucked beyond recognition.
I guess I’m not into pain as much as I thought I was.
“I’m good but thank you babes.” I reply, taking another bite.
I look out to the beach and watch a family of five posing for a photographer. They are all barefoot, wearing Seaside sweatshirts in different colors with their jeans rolled up so they can run through the waves coming up on the pretty white sand.
They all smile for the camera and make it look like they are having a blast, until the photographer takes a break. I watch the mother lose it on her kids, while the dad throws his hands up in frustration, as he attempts to round up the running, screaming toddlers.
I sit in awe of the family that doesn’t realize they have it all.
Brixon keeps saying we have it all. He talks about the future like he is so positive that we will have one. He is already in full wedding planning mode wanting to discuss all the things I want.
I’m excited for the wedding, and even though we are rushing it a bit, I know that I will be happy with whatever time I get with him.
“I thought after we finish our burgers, we could all go to Panama City, let you see the boardwalk, maybe ride on the Ferris wheel, do a little shopping. Dinner and drinks at The Saints Premier Hotel and Casino. We can all stay there tonight and have a little fun.” Liam speaks to all of us, but I watch him as his eyes continuously return to Emily.
I see the love he has for her. I watch her light up under his gaze, probably soaking up every bit of the emotions running off ofhim. He really does love her. I have no doubts about him taking care of her.
“Oh, is there a Ron Jons in the shopping center?” Lily asks, getting excited.
“Yeah, we can stop there while shopping. How did you know?” Noah asks her, looking a bit baffled.
“I know we have tried almost every ice cream shop around here, but I was checking for others close by and the one that they have in that particular shopping center has the really neat, frosted mugs with all kinds of shit topping the mug and ice cream.” Lily types on her phone like a maniac as she talks about one of her favorite things.
She turns her phone around showing each of us a picture of a very overdone ice cream mug that looks more like a work of art with food.
“Ice cream does sound good. Can we go there first?” I ask, wanting dessert already.
“You and your love of ice cream. I’m going to have to up my homemade ice cream recipes for you.” Noah smiles as he leans into Lily, gripping her chin as he presses his lips to hers.
We all continue walking towards the boardwalk after taking tons of pictures with our pretty jars of ice cream. I have to admit, it is one of the best German chocolate, banana, and marshmallow cream ice cream sundaes I’ve ever had. It’s definitely theprettiest. I hated to dig into it a mess it up, but I’m so glad I did. This shit is good!
It’s a cool sixty-two degrees with the sun shining down. I’m thankful for its warmth when the wind picks up, letting me taste the salty breeze coming off the ocean the closer we get to the boardwalk.
“Did you want to keep the mugs?” I ask Lily, knowing she likes to keep anything she can make into something else.
“Maybe just one for a memento. It does have the name of the ice cream shop on it.” Lily shrugs, obviously deliberating it before answering.
