I gulp again, but it does nothing to aid my dry throat or parched lips, yet the words find their way to my tongue nonetheless.
“I want to sink into nothingness.” I don’t know what it means, but the twinkle in his eyes tells me he does.
“I can help you with that, Princess.” He cups my cheek, switching his finger to his thumb against my lips as a ridiculously sexy grin spreads across his cheeks. “Maybe this time I’ll do it out here where anyone could see, just like I wanted to last time.”
Fuck.
The shiver that spirals down my spine leaves my knees weak, only serving to make his grin spread wider.
“You like that.”
“Maybe,” I rasp, my knuckles burning, my grip on him is so tight.
“Definitely, maybe,” he retorts, leaning closer until his lips are only a breath away from mine. Only his thumb stands in the way, but he seems to like teasing me and holds it as a barrier between us as he speaks. “Especially since Cassian got you started this morning.”
I hum in agreement, my thighs tightening at the reminder of the wolf between them. It feels like a lifetime ago, but I guess that’s the case when drama continues to drown me. As much as I’m thankful to be here, I can’t even walk to a professor’s office without something else popping up.
It seems my side quests in life are in full movement, and all I can do is succumb to it.
Before my mind can wander any further, Kryll presses his lips to my cheek in a ghost of a kiss as he lets my cloak gather at my feet. His hands move to the hem of my t-shirt, and I reluctantly release my hold on him to raise my hands over my head, aiding the removal of the fabric.
“Do not even think about fucking her in the open.”
We both freeze at the bark before I peer around Kryll’s frame to find Cassian, Raiden, and Brody standing at the drapes that separate the balcony from Kryll’s room.
“What?” Kryll’s gruff question echoes my own thoughts as I narrow my gaze on the wolf who not-so-politely interrupted us.
“You’ve had me in more compromising positions,” I point out, but that doesn’t seem to matter to him.
“Right now, you’re just for our eyes only,” Raiden states, backing up his friend as I feel my cheeks heat.
“Oh, she likes that,” Brody says with a snicker as he rubs his hands together. “Say it again.”
I part my lips to argue back, but my grumble turns into a squeak when Kryll sweeps me off my feet. It only takes a few steps before the lighting changes, and the noise from outside drifts into nothing, confirming we’re in the confines of his room.
“Looks like you’ve got yourself a fully participating audience right here, Princess,” Kryll breathes against my ear as he lowers me to my feet. He turns me on the spot to face the three new arrivals, and I have to sink my teeth into my bottom lip to hold back the groan threatening to unleash itself.
“We’re no fucking audience, Troublemaker. You’ve got yourself four fully-pledged volunteers. What are you going to do about it?” Raiden’s eyes are deadly, rendering me speechless as my body tingles with excitement.
Four participants.Four?
Can I handle that? I don’t know, but my body is screaming for me to try.
“I think someone needs a moment to stop dominating the kingdom and relish in what it feels like to submit to their body’s desires.” Brody’s words make my eyes widen as I gape at him. My chest clenches with a sense of truth in his words. Thankfully, instead of needing to find a response, Brody takes an answerfrom my silence. “Just nod once if you want to feel, Dagger. Just one little nod, and we’ll do all of the thinking.”
Can I do that? Give up control, offer no restraint, and just… feel?
“Trust us, Adrianna. Trust us to take care of you.”
I blink at Raiden, his eyes practically black as they rake over me again and again. An encouraging nod from Cassian, combined with Kryll’s hands on my waist, and I do something I never thought I would.
I trust.
One nod.
One blink.
One inhale.
