"Yeah, we need to relocate, make sure the families are safe and get a new plan in action." Rafael said, sounding fucking dead serious.
"Why there though?"
"That’s where some witch was buried, around that pack. Someone she wants to resurrect… We need to re-plan, I know you were not going to come back until the day after tomorrow… but…" He sounded guilty.
"Yeah, I get it. Don’t fucking stress it. We will be back before noon."
"Great…"
"What happened to the witch, Delsanra?" Kiara asked softly.
"The witch, what happened to her?" I asked Rafael.
"She’s dead."
Kiara turned away, as she stood up and wrapped her arms around herself, I could feel her sadness. I tried not to focus on how fucking fine she looked in nothing but her black heels. Fuck did I want to bend her over and ravage her all over again.
"Fine. See you tomorrow." I hung up and stood up, walking over to her.
"She was only sixteen." She said quietly.
"She was a witch and they’re sly as fuck. Don’t feel bad." I said quietly.
"She gave us answers though." She whispered.
I didn’t reply, as I kissed her shoulder and neck from behind.
"I’m sorry about cutting our time away short." I said.
She shook her head, kissing my cheek.
"No, this has been perfect, and we have plenty more to come." She said softly. She gave me a warm smile before she sighed deeply, tugging away and walking towards the bathroom. I watched her, admiring her ass and the slight sway of her hips, my gaze falling to her ankle.
In the last twenty-four hours, it had healed completely. She had woken up and twirled on her ankle, exclaiming how it didn’t hurt at all. Watching her, I realised how true it was. Apart from her shaky legs thanks to the sex, she was walking well. It had never bothered me, but the fact I knew she was no longer in pain made me happy. I wish that I could take all her pain, now and forever.
I hoped that she never had to carry any burden in life, but deep down I wondered if all those she loved would truly make it out of this alive. For her sake, I hoped so. No matter how impossible that sounded…
No matter what happened, I knew my nympho would remain strong…
115. Tension
KIARA
It had been three days since we returned, and we had made our way straight to The Blood Moon Pack. It felt strange to return here, knowing that it was no longer my pack. Not to mention the eyes that followed me, everyone addressed me as Queen Luna, I felt strange.
Being apart from Alejandro for even a few hours was difficult, and I realised how important the mate bond was. Not to mention, I felt extra possessive of him whenever a she-wolf checked him out. I didn’t have much time to ponder over it. We were busy planning and preparing for Endora. With Grandma Amelia’s help, we were searching for the land where the witch may have been buried. We needed to stop her before she was able to do whatever strange plans she had in mind.
I had told Grandma Amelia, Damon and Liam about my baby, but apart from that, we were still keeping it a secret. Aunty Indy was not doing great, she didn’t leave her room and refused to even speak to Alejandro when he had requested it. He almost lost it and would have snapped if I hadn’t been there to calm him down. I knew his patience was wearing thin and I knew that I wouldn’t be able to contain him for much longer.

It was now just after training, Alejandro had joined Liam and the rest. I had joined in and without my ankle flaring up, I was faster than ever, not to mention being mated to the Lycan King himself gave me more strength too.
I wiped the sweat from my forehead as I bent over. I was glad training was over for the day, I looked at the three men who were on the floor breathing heavily. Each one looked stunned or in awe. If I wasn’t so breathless, I would have found it funny. Not to mention, Alejandro had watched them dangerously as we sparred. I’m sure they were scared to attack me and had stuck to defence for most of the match.
“It seems like our Queen is rather strong… Let’s spar." Mom’s voice came from behind me.
My heart thumped as I turned to look at her. I wasn’t the only strong female around. Yes, Mom and I always sparred, but I was never able to defeat her… and we never sparred in public.
