"Something smells burnt." Rayhan interjected.

I smiled in amusement as Jasmin laughed loudly.

"It’s all edible." Raihana lied smoothly.

Alejandro looked at her before he took a piece of the brownie first. I felt a slight sense of disappointment, the very opposite of the look that now crossed Jasmin’s face. I took a seat on the same sofa as Rayhan, as Raihana sat next to Alejandro. Although I could tell she was nervous, it was clear she wanted to bond with him. I just wished he would also make that step with her.

"I’ll be the fucking judge of that." Alejandro said, biting into the brownie.

My stomach fluttered watching him lick his lips… Remembering how that tongue had been on me last night…I pressed my thighs together, looking away. Rayhan took a piece of the brownies too.

"Honestly, I feel like a judge right now." He said, popping it into his mouth. "Too dry."

Jasmin’s face fell a little but she said nothing as she watched Alejandro, who didn’t speak.

Rayhan grabbed a cupcake and Alejandro went for a cookie.

"These smell burnt…"

"They taste fine." Raihana said innocently.

"Meh…" He shrugged and took a big bite.

Oops? The guys definitely took big bites… He gagged and spat it out into his hand.

"Who the fuck made such crap?!"

Me and Raihana burst into laughter at the look of complete annoyance and unhappiness on Raven's face, as she stood there hands now on her hips.

"They are not that bad! The icing takes the edge off!" She grumbled.

"I’m a werewolf! Our senses are heightened! Nothing can take the edge off!" He stood up and rushed out of the room, most likely to grab some water. I giggled as Raven grumbled something incoherent.

"He was an idiot to even risk it when you can smell that they’re completely charred." Alejandro remarked as he ate his cookie. "Not bad."

Raihana’s face lit up. Just then, Rayhan re-entered with a large glass of milk and took a blondie, as he grumbled that the burnt taste was lingering in his mouth.

Still, it seemed he hadn't learned his lesson, when he shoved a full square into his mouth. My eyes were on Alejandro though, as he finally took a piece of the blondie, observing it for a moment before he bit into it.

His eyes instantly went to me as he swallowed and I tried not to look at his Adams apple bopping behind those tattoos that covered his neck.

"These, whatever the fuck they are, are fucking delicious." He said in his deep voice.

His comment sent my heart racing and my stomach knotted. Raven smirked.

"They’re blondies, Alpha." She said as Raihana smiled and turned to her brother.

"And you, Rayhan, what did you like?"

"Yeah, the blondies." He said, shooting a glare at Raven, who stuck her tongue out at him.

"So, Kiara gets the reward!" Raihana said with an amused smile.

"What reward?" Rayhan asked.

"A kiss from the King." Raven said smugly.

"Is it necessary? He didn’t agree." Jasmin said, her lips now pressed together.
