“Already on my way. See you in a few minutes. Raven?”

“Hmm?” I murmur.

“Yeah, I’ll bring coffee with me.”

“You are a goddess,” I sigh.

True to her word, she bursts through the door less than ten minutes later holding a garment bag over one arm and a large coffee in her free hand. “Love the hair and makeup, but I’m glad you called me for the clothes.”

“Ya think?” I take a careful sip of the coffee she hands me, then muster the energy to twirl in the towel I’d wrapped around myself. “You mean this doesn’t work for you?”

She giggles and unzips the bag. “I think this will work better.” She takes out a black dress with a corset top and a lace skirt. Thankfully the skirt has a liner, so I won’t be showing off the other lacy things I plan on wearing.

The piping of the dress has enough support that I don’t need a bra. I grab a pair of black lace cheeky panties from my lingerie collection. Amber turns around so I can get dressed. When I pull up the dress I hold it to my chest, unable to grab the zipper.

“Amber?”

She pulls up the zipper and steps back. “Damn I’m good. This will knock Sin on his ass. You guys made up, right?”

“Yeah, but he still needs to suffer a little.”

She gives me the once over. “Well, I think this will do it. Wait—” From the garment bag she takes out another article of clothing. “It’s all about anticipation. Plus, your overprotective husband will never let you leave the house like that. Your brother either for that matter.”

She holds out the short black trench coat, which hits me mid-thigh when I put it on. “There’s only one thing missing,” she muses. From the bottom of her bag she pulls out a pair of sexy, strappy, black shoes with a spike heel. “These will pull it all together.”

“Those are going to kill my feet,” I grumble.

She shrugs. “Beauty is pain, babe.”

“You were already pretty when you went in there. What the hell can be taking so long?” Lucien shouts.

“Keep your shirt on, she’s coming,” Amber yells back.

“Hurry and drink that. With the mood he’s in you’re going to need it,” she tells me.

I do as she suggests and guzzle the coffee as I head down the hall. Amber follows me, and Lucien pounces on her as soon as we enter the living room. He pins her against the wall. “Keep my shirt on?” He drags his nose down her neck. “Are you sure that’s what you want?” he says in a husky voice.

“Maybe you should come with us,” he continues.

Sin walks past him and smacks him on the back of the head. “Stop thinking with your dick. We’re going to find information.”

Lucien playfully shoves Sin. “Remember that, asshole. I don’t need to add to the trauma I’ve already gotten from catching you with my sister.”

“If you ladies are done bitching, we need to get going. Ambs, make yourself comfortable. The three of us will have our own party when we get back,” Teddy orders. “That work for you, Luce?”

“Can hardly wait.” Lucien smirks, and I gag a little.

Sin jangles his keys. “Now would be good.”

We weavethrough buildings of glittering glass as we enter downtown Playa Pacifica. It’s a sparkling homage to the gods of capitalism, and the last place I expect to find a secret sex club. After a few confusing turns through the gridlock of rush hour traffic, we pull into a generic-looking parking garage. My stomach drops as we take the ramp up level by level. The low sloping ceiling and thick pillars make me feel like the entire building is squeezing down on me.

Sin squeezes our SUV between a wall and a black sedan. Nearly every space on this level is full, which seems a little odd considering where we are going. It seems there are a lot of people in on this particular secret.

There’s only one entrance on this level, but it’s unmarked. I look around to see if we missed something, but Lucien and Sin head straight for the door. “Are you sure we’re in the right place? This whole place screams bland and boring.”

“That’s the point. You have to know where you’re going to end up here. No one will stumble into this place by accident,” Sin says.
