The door swings open before I even get a chance to catch my breath, and there he is—standing in the doorway, looking as calm and composed as ever, like he’s been expecting me all along. His eyes lock onto mine, and that same electric charge surges between us.

“Lilith,” he says, his voice low and smooth, sending a shiver down my spine.

I swallow hard, trying to find my voice. “We need to talk,” I manage to say, my voice shaking slightly. I can’t tell if it’s from fear or anticipation—maybe both.

He steps aside, smirking, and I can already feel the irritation bubbling inside me. “So you said,” he mutters, his tone low, the smug look on his face designed to piss me off even more. I clench my jaw, glaring at him, but he only seems amused by my reaction.

“Let’s talk,” he says, that smirk still lingering as he gestures for me to enter. The door closes behind me with a soft click, and suddenly I feel trapped, like there’s no turning back now.

Sebastian stands close, too close, and the tension between us is palpable. I can feel his eyes on me, taking me in, as if he’s assessing every thought running through my mind. His presence is overwhelming, intoxicating, and I can barely think straight. I aimlessly walk toward the living room.

Sebastian’s house is as striking as he is—dark, modern, and mysterious. The exterior is sleek and imposing, with deep gray walls and large, tinted windows that give nothing away. It’s nestled in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by dense forest, as if the scariest thing lurking in the darkness out here is him. The interior is just as moody—dark wood floors, low lighting, leather furniture. The space feels intimate, intense, and undeniably Sebastian.

“Drink?” he offers, his voice casual, like this is just any other night.

I shake my head, my pulse racing. “No… no, I’m fine.”

He doesn’t press, but I can feel his eyes lingering on me, studying me, waiting for me to say something, to explain why I’m here. But the words won’t come. I’m not sure I can even find them right now, not with the way he’s looking at me.

“Why did you come here tonight, Lilith?” he asks, his voice soft but commanding, pulling me out of my thoughts. “You could’ve stayed away, but you didn’t.”

I don’t waste any time. “Did you… Did you kill him?” I ask, my voice barely above a whisper, but I won’t let myself show fear.

He takes a step closer. “Yes,” he simply says, his voice calm.

Shock ripples through me, but I won’t back away.

“Why?” I whisper, my voice barely audible now.

He steps even closer, closing the distance between us, and I can feel my body tense in anticipation. His fingers brush my arm, and I shiver at the contact. “Because he was going to hurt you. Because no one touches you but me.”

My lips part as if they’re going to say something, but nothing comes out. What the hell am I supposed to say after that?

“I’ll never let anyone hurt you, Lilith,” he says gently, his hand trailing down my arm, down to my waist, pulling me closer. My body shakes at the possessiveness in him, begging to know what happens after this. He leans into me, his lips brushing against my ear as he whispers, “You knew this was coming. You knew the moment we met.”

I instantly mold into his body, barely able to breathe.

“You can’t… do this,” I whisper, but my voice is weak, and he knows it.

“I already have.” His hand tightens on my waist, pulling me flush against his hard body. “And I’ll do it again. For you.”

I don’t move. I won’t push him away.

Sebastian steps even closer, his eyes dark and unreadable, his voice low and dripping with control. “That’s not all you came over here for tonight. What else do you want, Lilith?”

I swallow hard, my pulse racing, unsure of how to respond. My heart is pounding in my chest, and I can feel his presence pulling me in like gravity. “I don’t know… I came for answers, to talk,” I manage to say, though my voice falters.

He tuts softly, shaking his head as he closes the distance between us. “You know that’s a lie,” he says, his gaze roaming over me with a dark, knowing intensity. “Just look at yourself, Lilith. I can see it. Your body wants more.”

He closes the space left between us, if there ever was any, his eyes never leaving mine, and my pulse quickens. “You do know,” he murmurs, his voice low and dangerous. “You just don’t want to admit it.”

The air between us crackles with tension, and I can feel my body reacting to him, the way it always does. My skin feels too tight, too hot, and I shift nervously under his gaze. He’s right. I do know why I’m here. I came here because I can’t stay away, because no matter how much I try to fight it, I want him.

“I can’t stop thinking about you,” I confess, the words tumbling out before I can stop them. “I know I shouldn’t, but I can’t help it.”

His eyes darken, and I can see the shift in him, the way his expression hardens, becomes more intense. He steps closer, his body towering over mine, and I feel the heat of him, the raw power that radiates from him.

Sebastian’s eyes glint with dark promise as he steps closer, his voice dropping to a low, dangerous murmur. “I’ll bend you over right here and fuck your pretty pussy until you’re crying out for me. Then you’ll know what it’s like to be truly consumed by me, Lilith.”
