“Shush, I’m gonna go get my tables started I’ll see you guys around.” She waves as she walks off to the tables next to my section. Thankfully Lisa lets us work next to each other and keeps Stacy on the other side of the diner.

“Bye, Winter.” Creedence nods his head to her.

“Bye, Creed.” She turns backwards, tying her apron as she says it.

“Anyways before you were rude and changed the subject. Tonight, let me give you a massage.” I smile at him. My thighs tighten just thinking about my hands being all over his firm abs and strong muscular arms, oh yeah and his back the main thing I’ll be focusing on massaging.

“Fine, but only if you let me massage you too. I can tell your back is hurting from the way you're shifting your feet, baby. I keep telling you to wear better shoes.” He shakes his head at me like he’s disappointed.

“I’ll be fine, Creed. But I’m down, I’d love a massage.” I bite my lower lip thinking about his strong hands groping me. “Hold on, let me go check my tables real quick so they don’t think I’m favoring you.” I tell him as I walk away to go get the checks for my last two tables and then take the drink order for my two new tables.

I walk by the counter and stop to talk to Axton really quick.

“Hey, sorry to interrupt but do you know what you want to order? Creed says he’s starving and would feel bad orderingwithout you?” I ask with a smile on my face so that way he doesn’t feel like I’m being rude.

“I’ll be right there; sorry Lisa and I were just finishing up.” He gives Lisa a hug.

“No, it’s okay I wasn’t trying to rush you, I was just asking. I figured I could put your order in while you were talking to her,” I say hoping I didn’t make them mad interrupting.

“It’s fine, we were just about done anyway.” He has somewhat of a smile on his face and it seems like he’s in a little bit of a happier mood.

“Okay, cool. I’ll come take your order then,” I tell him as I walk behind him.

“Sorry man, I didn’t mean to take that long.” He sits down across from Creedence.

“It’s okay, I’m just happy you’re out of the house. I know what you’re going through is rough and we just wanna be here for you,” he tells him with a serious look on his face.

“I appreciate you guys, don’t let me mope around and become depressed. That bitch isn’t worth it.” He laughs. “I should have listened to my parents when they told me she wasn’t good enough for me.” He sighs. “But you live and you learn. All I need is a couple rebounds and I should be good.” He sounds confident as he smiles at us, but I can see the hurt in his eyes still because his smile doesn’t quite reach his eyes.

“Oh, speaking of rebounds. Chastity said there’s a big party going on at one of the frat houses next weekend. And before you guys say no, hear me out Axton, hot…single…girls.” I wiggle my eyebrows at him with a smile on my face.

“Hey I’m down.” He looks over at Creed for a response.

“I’m down if you are, Sugar.” Credence looks over at me as he speaks. I love that no matter what we are doing his eyes always find their way to mine.

“Yes! I thought for sure you guys would say no.” I have a big smile on my face as Winter walks by.

“What are you guys so happy about?” She stops walking, placing her hands on her hips.

“You and Carsten want to go to a party at one of the frat houses with Chastity next Friday?” She looks up and closes her eyes as she’s thinking.

“Carsten is on his way in here right now so you can ask him but I’m down if he is.” She smiles at us. “Man, it’s been a while since I’ve been to a party, his mom has the twins again next weekend, well next Friday night she does, so we’re free. Fuck, I hope he says yes. You know what, forget him, we’re going.” She walks off, talking to herself in the process.

“That was interesting.” Creedence raises an eyebrow at her while she walks away, laughing while she continues to ramble to herself.

“Umm yeah, I’d say.” Axton laughs right along with us.

“She is weird like that sometimes, but that’s why I love my best friend,” I tell them. “Now what can I get you guys?” I grab my pen and pad from my apron.

“Sugar, I’m fucking starving so if you’ll ignore the fact that I’m about to eat like a total fat-ass I’d appreciate that.” Creed looks down at the menu, his eyes lighting up at the food.

“Creedence, when have I ever judged you for eating? I never have and never will…eat away, babe.” I wink at him, hoping he understood my little hint at being dirty.

“Is that an invitation to eat whatever I want?” His voice comes out raspy, clearly getting turned on.

“Yes Mister, you can eat whatever. You. Want.” I wiggle my eyebrows at him with a smile on my face.

“Umm guys I’d hate to break up this little thing you got going on but uhhh I’m right here. Thanks.” Axton places his head inboth of his hands, shaking it like he can’t believe he’s caught in the middle of this.
