“What are you two talking about?” Ani asked.

“Well,” Ginger embellished, “I’ve been sort of fantasizing about being, you know, in bed with two guys at once for years, and I think maybe that’s why all my sexual encounters have, well, been insufficient.” She grimaced.

“You want a threesome?” Ani chuckled. “Girl, I had no idea! Well, I’ve had them, and let me tell you there is nothing like riding one guy while the other is snuggled up behind you. It really is the best kind of sex.” Their baby sister winked.

Sage and Ginger gasped, giggled, then high-fived Ani.

“Well, damn,” Sage said. “It’s always the quiet ones.”

The three sisters spent the rest of that night laughing and confessing the rest of their secrets. It seemed the Freeman sisters were a tad freaky, but in the best possible way. But Ginger was not laughing now. So, she and her sisters had the same predilection towards threesomes. That wasn’t odd, not really, but it was more than just the sex. Ginger craved the love and companionship of two men.

Darn those books! She’d started adding MFM books to her reading list years ago, and even though she knew they were just fiction, somehow, they clicked. That was what she wanted. Two strong, handsome men to come in and sweep her off her feet. But that was just one of those silly dreams, she guessed.

Sigh. Still, Moongate Island did sound kinda dreamy. The name of their destination created all sorts of indulgent fantasies inside her overactive mind. Imagine cabana boys in tiny little swim trunks that barely covered their oversized manliness serving her bear claws and chilled pitchers of yummy Margs! Yes, please. She had to remember to jot that down in the little notebook of naughty ideas she kept for the day she finally took the plunge and wrote her own sexy romance novel.

Sigh. She was overdoing it again, wasn’t she? Well, what did she expect from someone who spent eight hours a day engaged in educational playtime with small children? An avid romance reader, Ginger spent most of her preteen and high school years with her nose in a book. Even before that. Okay, from the moment she learned that perfect boys only existed in books, she couldn’t get enough of them.

Some people thought romance novels were an unsavory addiction, but they could all bugger off as far as she was concerned. Some of the worst moments of her life were made better by her devout reading. Her sisters used to tease her about it in that unique way only siblings could, but Ginger was immune to their raucous comments. Especially when she’d caught them ransacking her stores! Now the three of them traded books regularly.

At that very moment, her e-reader was charged and packed away in the single carry-on luggage she was bringing to their exclusive destination. Frequented by the young, rich, and hopefully single, Moongate Island was going to be Ginger’s ultimate escape. No matter what happened, she was going to be open to some new experiences this weekend. Her sisters didn’t know her plan, but she intended to find out if all her bookish imaginings could be reality. Even if only for a night or two.

Yes, she thought and started her car. It was time Ginger got her groove back.
