“They smell great, and they’re beautiful. Thank you so much. Do you want to come in?”
“Oh, yeah. That’d be great.”
I walk into her house, her own personal sanctuary, and look around. Her feet pad around the room as she grabs a vase for the flowers and fills it up.
“Make yourself comfortable,” she comments, “I just have to finish up a few other things and then I’ll be ready to go.” She walks off, her soft footsteps drifting off as she walks to the other side of the house. It sounds like she’s kept her same room. It’s weird being here without her folks. It’s like this is their house and I’m just a visitor but at the same time, this isn’t their house anymore.
I sit on the same couch that’s always been here and am immediately flooded with memories. So many sneaky touches took place under blankets where no one else could see. It’s like the whole house is stuck in the past.
“Okay, ready to go.” She’s wearing her combat boots again and a pair of fishnet leggings.
“Wooo” I whistle. She blushes as I let my eyes roam unapologetically. “Are those new, or do they still have a hole?” Her eyes widen and I send a wink her way before laughing.
“You owe me a new pair,” she quips, while playfully hitting my arm. I stumble to the side, holding my arm like she’s bruised it.
“Whatever you say, kitten. Let’s get outta here.”
Dinner, a movie, and a walk downtown to get ice cream to end the night. We’re sitting on the bench in front of the ice cream parlor, licking the creamy goodness. This night couldn’t have gone any better.
It was filled with endless conversation and laughter. There were sly touches that had me on the edge of my seat the entire night. Just little touches, like our pinky fingers brushing past one another as we walked, or her placing her hand on my arm as she laughed at something I said. These moments make me feel like we can do this again. It’s not like I’m naive enough to think that it won’t be hard work. Our relationship ended in trauma, and that’s always messy.
If we can work through all of that, it’ll be us again.
These thoughts flood my mind as I drive her home. I don’t want this night to end, but I’m also not trying to overdo it. If I take it easy now, I can ask her out later this week. Yeah, that’s what I’ll do. I’ll be a gentleman and drop her off tonight and then I’ll ask her to go out again on Saturday. Before I know it, we’re sitting in front of her house, and the night has really ended.
“Wait here,” I jump out of the truck, run around to her side, and open the door. I hold out my hand and she takes it before hopping out.
I walk with her up to the front door, just to make sure she gets inside okay.
“Thank you for tonight, it was a lot of fun.” She stands up on her tiptoes and presses her plush lips to my cheek.
“Thank you,” I want to say more, but I’m frozen.
“Well, I’ll see you around,” she goes to turn around, but I reach out and stop her.
“Can I kiss you? I mean I know we-” my voice trails off and I chuckle, “But either way. Can I kiss you goodnight?”
She nods her head, giving me the approval I wished for. I wrap a hand around the back of her head and pull her forward, pushing my lips against hers. She tastes like the floral ice cream that we ate earlier. It’s sweet, just like every other part of her. I lick at the seam of her lips, tasting every part of her that I can. She moans, and before I can take it any further, I pull away. I rest my forehead against her, my cock pulsing to get out of its confines, but tonight isn’t the night.
“Saturday?” I pant.
“What?” She pulls away to look up at me, but I need to touch her. I pull her into me and she wraps her arms around me. Our size comparison is even more evident now, her hands can’t even touch. Her hands grip my shirt as her head lays on my soft stomach. Her hair smells like coconut and I inhale the scent.
“Go out with me on Saturday. I want to show you my new property. And then we can go to the harvest festival again.”
“Really?”
“Yeah, I wasn’t joking when I said I missed you.”
“But, that’s your place. You want to share it?” I look at her, my eyes searching hers.
“Of course I do. It’s you, baby.” I lay a kiss onto her forehead and she melts into my touch.
“Yeah, that’d be great.” We exchange numbers, because despite the last two times we hung out, we have yet to do that, and I pull her close before letting her go again.
“Text me, babes,” I say with a wink. I back away, watching to make sure she gets into her house and locks the door.
If I wasn’t a sucker for her already, then I sure as fuck am now.
