Roger that.
Kevin laughed and put his phone down to finish eating. There was something he wanted to check out.
After dinner, Kevin sat down at his computer. He brought up Google and typed inNate McKinney fighting. Google came back with a bunch of results. Scrolling down the list, he saw there was a Facebook fan page. He clicked on that, figuring all of Nate’s stuff would be collected there. And it was. There were pictures, videos, a bio, and fight results. The most recent posts were all over a year old and mentioned his gyms.
Kevin clicked on an album of one of Nate’s fights. The pictures looked professional, right down to the photographer’s mark in the corner. He clicked through looking at Nate. His hair had been shorter then, cropped close to his head. The buzzed look made him appear hard and intimidating, but he was still gorgeous. After getting his fill of photos, he selected one of the videos.
Obviously, this fight club set up had been more than a fly-by-night operation. The video quality was good with nice graphics. And the location and crowd were decent. It was rough, but didn’t look like something the cops would be busting in on to break up.
Nate appeared on screen, accompanied by pounding, driving rock music as he stepped into the cleared space. Just like in the pictures, he was shirtless, his wrists taped, his arms loose at his sides. A pair of mid-thigh length black shorts hung low on his hips. Kevin’s eyes were drawn to his sharp V-cut, damn near on the edge of his seat to see if the shorts would fall any further as he bounced on the balls of his feet.
Once the fight started, Nate watched his opponent, a giant redhead, with sharp focus, never taking his eyes off him. The redhead swung his brick like fists, but Nate was too fast for him to land a punch. He’d swoop in with a hit and be out of striking distance before the guy recovered.
Eventually he had the guy completely off balance and went after him with force. He struck hard and fast, the other fighter unable to do anything but defend himself. Nate caught him with a stiff jab right on the chin. The guy’s head snapped back, the rest of his body following in slow motion as he dropped to the ground.
Nate stood over him for a moment, like he was daring the big guy to get up. He didn’t. He just laid there, clearly dazed. Realizing he’d won, Nate looked up, and just for a few seconds, stared right into the camera. His face was hard, his eyes bright. His expression was still full of aggression, like the fight hadn’t satisfied him.
Kevin’s breathing shallowed, his nostrils flaring slightly. He almost felt like he could smell the sweat and dirt on Nate’s skin. His cock stiffened as he imagined Nate looking at him like that. Nate turned away from the camera, raising his arms in victory while the crowd chanted his name. Kevin gripped the mouse, moving the button back a few seconds on the video. He watched Nate look into the camera one more time, wondering what he had done after the fight that night.
Chapter Six
“You’re really improving. You’ve already got better definition in your arms.”
They were three weeks into their sessions. Kevin was currently hanging from one of the ropes over the foam ball pit, working his way up. Nate stood off to the side of the pit, observing his progress.
Thanks.” Kevin paused to look down at Nate below him. “I’ve been eating better too.”
“Good work. But don’t forget you have to have a Fuck It Friday.”
Kevin laughed and started inching his way up again. “A what?”
“Fuck It Friday. Your day of the week where you eat what you want. Don’t go overboard and scarf down an entire pizza, but enjoy something you like.”
Kevin took a moment to answer. He brought his crossed legs up, gripping the rope between his feet. He pulled himself up again, trying to get to the thick red tape just out of reach. He was determined to achieve that goal. It would be the highest he’d climbed yet.
“I can do that. This Friday would be perfect, there’s a Crime and Kaos marathon coming on I was going to watch. I can have TV snacks to go along with it.” Crime and Kaos was a gritty, futuristic detective comic that had been turned into an adult cartoon. The second season was starting next week, so they were running the entire first season for fans to catch up.
