Royce narrows his eyes at me. “As if you don’t like being called a good boy. All three of you have a praise kink. Stop giving him a hard time.”

“Oh, I’ll give him a hard time alright.” I snicker.

“Not right now you won’t.” Cormac’s tone is firm as he glances at me. “I don’t give a shit how turned on anyone gets right now, we’re all going to fucking sleep as soon as we’re all clean. Bunch of fucking horny assholes, the lot of you.”

Mackenzie giggles. “He’s not wrong.”

“He’s not, but don’t let him know that. It’ll give him a big head.”

Somehow, I manage to not fall back asleep as the others finish up. Then I’m being hustled from the shower where a warm towel quickly dries me off.

The five of us stagger out of the bathroom and into the bed. There’s a bit of a tussle as we figure out who’s sleeping where, but I end up right where I want to—wrapped around Mackenzie with Cormac at my back. Damon managed to beat out Royce to be on her other side, leaving Royce to spoon Damon. Once we’re all settled, I don’t hear anyone complaining.

I expect sleep to consume me immediately, but I seem to hover somewhere between being asleep and being awake.

“They’re going to be okay, aren’t they?” Royce’s voice is quiet.

I can feel the rumble of Cormac’s words before I hear them. “We’ll make sure they are.”

Royce hums. “This is what you want, right? You’re not just saying it because it’s what everyone else wants?”

“When have you ever known me to lie to please others?” Cormac snorts. “I meant every word I said. I don’t know how it’ll work, but if we can make it work? I think it could be just what we need.”

They’re still talking, but I can no longer make out their words as sleep finally pulls me under.

Chapter Twenty-two

Damon

“If my dick doesn’t get some action soon, I’m going to explode,” I complain as I walk into the kitchen.

Mackenzie giggles from her spot at the kitchen bar. “I’m pretty sure that’s not how that works.”

Narrowing my eyes at her, I growl. “You don’t have a dick, so you don’t get to have an opinion on this matter.”

She holds her hands up in mock surrender as she fights back her laughter.

It’s been two weeks since we were kidnapped from this very house. Both of us are healing well physically. As Mackenzie guessed, our mental health isn’t faring quite as well. At her urging, all five of us are seeing someone. It’s too early to tell, butI like to think it’s helping. Time is really the only thing that can heal us from what we went through.

“I have a dick, and I know that’s certainly not how it works,” Parker says from his spot beside Mackenzie.

Cormac grunts from his place at the stove, and I roll my eyes.

They’re all a bunch of assholes. I know that’s not how it works, but it fucking feels like that’s what is going to happen.

“You assholes also don’t get to have an opinion on the subject. You act like we can’t hear the two of you and Royce sneaking off and fucking like bunnies.” I scoff. “If you’re getting some, then you don’t get to comment.”

“Awww, is Damon feeling sexually frustrated?” Royce asks as he steps into the room sans shirt.

I lick my lips as my eyes rove over him. He’s slick with sweat, probably from working out—something else I’m not allowed to do.

“Fuck,” I groan, closing my eyes. “You can’t walk in here looking like that and not expect my dick to get hard. I’m surrounded by utter hotness and no one will fuck me or let me fuck them.”

“I never said you couldn’t fuck me,” Mackenzie says, hunger heavy in her voice.

I snort. “No, you didn’t. But the two of them said no, and even threatened to put my cock in a godsdamned cage if I tried. Fucking cockblockers. I think I know when I’m able to have sex.”

“Definitely sexually frustrated then.” Royce chuckles.
