“Yeah, I don’t think I want to give you my expensive ass lingerie.”

I laugh, reaching over to snag it from her hand and place it in the inside pocket of my jacket. “As I said, I’d like to wash it so you can wear it some other time this weekend, and I won’t complain about my jacket smelling of you until it goes to the dry cleaners.”

“Fine, but you better give it back. I did not spend that much money on something to only wear it once.” She zips her bag closed. “So where will we be spending the weekend? A hotel? Your place?”

“A hotel. The Golden Oasis. I have a suite there for the weekend.”

“Will it just be the three of us?”

I smile, shaking my head. “Uh uh uh. No more hints. You’ll find out when we get there.”

Damon steps out then, dressed in a pair of jeans and a T-shirt. While I’m sad to see him covered up, he looks damn good in his fitted clothing. I wonder if this man ever looks bad.

Reaching over, I take Mackenzie’s bag from her and move to the door. “I have a driver waiting for us outside. He’ll drive us to the hotel.”

“I can carry my own bag,” Mackenzie says as she follows me into the hallway.

“I’m sure you can, but why should you carry your own bag when I can do it for you?”

Damon snickers. “Are you going to carry my bag, too?”

“If you want me to.” I reach for it, but he pulls it away and shakes his head.

“I’m not letting you carry my bag, Royce, but I appreciate your willingness to do so.” Damon throws his free arm over Mackenzie’s shoulders. “Lead the way.”

“I always take care of what’s mine,” I assure him with a smirk before spinning on my heel and leading them out.

Generally, I prefer to drive myself places—especially right now—but there are expectations when coming to the auction, so I booked a driver. And because I have no problem spoiling the people I care about—or the people they care about—I even went all out for the stretch limo. Is it over-the-top and unnecessary? Absolutely, but I don’t care.

Damon and Mackenzie might not be mine permanently, but they are for the weekend. Something tells me that Parker isn’t going to want to part with them when the weekend ends—meaning theywillend up mine. Maybe this is just the kick Parker needs to help me and Cormac find out who framed him. Because until we can clear that up, these two can’t mean anything more than a weekend with the three of us.

“I don’t think I’ve been in a limo since your prom,” Mackenzie says as we approach the vehicle, the driver already holding the door open.

“Oh, do the two of you know one another?” I ask, hiding my grin.

They glance at one another before Damon nods. “We knew each other growing up and lost track.”

I nod. “That makes a lot more sense for what I walked in on. Interesting that you both ended up here at the same time. After the two of you.”

“Very interesting,” Mackenzie agrees as she climbs into the limo with Damon right behind her.

If I check out both their asses, who can blame me? They’re both gorgeous, and while we plan to let Parker and the two of them have the rest of the night together, Cormac and I have plans for tomorrow. We’ll see about Sunday. It’s going to be an enjoyable weekend for all parties.

Just before slipping into the limo, I shoot a text off to Cormac to let him know we’re on our way.

When I climb inside, I choose to sit on a separate seat from the two of them. As soon as I’m settled, I turn my attention back to them. “Feel free to talk amongst yourselves if you still have catching up to do. Or feel free to put on another show for me. I wouldn’t mind getting to watch from the beginning.”

“Oh, yeah?” Mackenzie smiles. “How long until we get to the hotel?”

“Not long,” I say regretfully, wrinkling my nose. “Only about fifteen minutes.”

Mackenzie’s smile only grows. “Well, that’s more than enough time.” She leans over to whisper something in Damon’s ear, and he nods.

“And what are the two of you up to?” I ask, eyes narrowing. Putting the two of them with Parker is definitely going to be interesting, that’s for sure.

Neither of them respond. Instead, they drop to their knees, crawling the short distance across the limo until they’re kneeling before me. They can’t mean to—

Oh, yes. They definitely do, I realize as Mackenzie reaches for the zipper on my slacks. I lay my hand on hers, offering them a soft smile. “While I appreciate the offer, that isn’t what I was asking for.”
