Oliver chuckled and leaned up against the wall, watching her as she brushed her teeth. Both of them had an obsession with watching her do things. Did they not trust her or did they have a watching fetish?

She quickly spit and rinsed her mouth out before turning around and walking out of the bathroom. Hedda stilled as shesaw Leo standing next to the crib with the cuffs in his hands. She didn't want those around her wrists.

"I think tonight you won't have to wear these," Leo said. "But if you're a naughty girl, we'll put them back on you."

She nodded her head and walked towards the crib. She didn't like sleeping in it, no matter how much it made her feel safe.

"I think tonight she can sleep in the other bed," Oliver said.

Her head shot up at the mention of another bed. Were they talking about the bed she woke up in earlier?

"I think that's a good idea," Leo said and walked behind the crib.

Hedda couldn't tell what he was doing, but before she knew it the crib railings were off. Her eyes went wide and she stared at the 'new' bed.

"Let's get you tucked in," Oliver said.

She grabbed Lila and climbed into the bed, placing Lila right next to her. Oliver pulled the blanket up to her chin and kissed her forehead.

"If you need anything, don't hesitate to come to one of us," he said. "You get some sleep."

Leo kissed her forehead and she watched as both of them left the room. She wasn't going to be able to sleep in this room. Hedda waited a couple of seconds before she slipped out of bed and quietly made her way towards the door.

Peeking her head out, she looked up and down the hallway before slipping out of the room. If they were going to make her fall asleep, she might as well be comfortable.

She tiptoed down the hallway and towards the last room.Quietly opening the door, Hedda slipped into the room and walked over towards the bed. She pulled the covers back before climbing in.

Ahhh. That was more like it.

Hedda closed her eyes and took a deep breath in, allowing her body to fall asleep.

CHAPTER TWENTY

LEO

Oliver and Leo stood in the stairs, away from prying eyes, and waited for Hedda. Leo had a suspicion that she was going to leave her room and go towards the other one.

"Just give it a second," Leo whispered towards Oliver. "She's going to come out and go into the room. Why wouldn't she?"

Oliver didn't think she was going to leave her room, but Leo knew. Once a person gets a taste of how they could be sleeping, they'll do anything to have more of it. Even if Hedda wanted to deny how much she didn't want to sleep, her body knew best. Her body craved sleep.

Now that her body had gotten sleep, restful sleep, it was going to be hard for her to ignore it. He had seen grown men with training lose the fight against their body. Leo had no doubt if they let her sleep, she would have slept for over fifteen hours. And maybe he should've let her, but it wasalso important for her to eat. Especially since she was already so underweight.

"She's not," Oliver started to say, but quickly closed his mouth as they heard a door open.

Leo waited a couple of seconds before he peeked his head around the banister. Oliver stood right next to him and they watched Hedda walk down the hallway. Leo noticed that she wasn't carrying anything.

What happened to Lila? Leo could've sworn he saw Lila in her room when they put her to bed. Had she already snuck into the room to put Lila there or had she forgotten her?

Hedda walked into the room and Leo turned towards Oliver.

"Yeah. Yeah. You don't need to rub it in my face. You were right," Oliver gently said.

"I wasn't going to say that. I was actually going to say I need to check her room before we go downstairs," Leo said.

"Why do you need to do that?"

"I think she left her stuffie in the room. Don't want her to wake up without it and panic."
