LEO

Leo was patiently waiting for Michael to tell him if Hedda was coming with them tonight. Oliver and he had made it a point to come to the club every night Michael and Monroe came in case Hedda decided to come.

But each time they came, she didn't.

He didn't know what was wrong with her or what happened for her to be like this, but he wanted to. She had stopped replying to their messages and it was killing him and his brother. What did they do to deserve this?

Leo and Oliver had talked to Jaxson about this a while ago and they still didn't know what to do. He really wanted to go and take her from Michael's house and have her with them. It was what they needed to do. She wasn't replying to any of the messages they left her, but she did read them. He didn't know if she wanted them to see that she was reading them. It was killing him to know that she did read them but wouldn't respond.

Leo knew something happened before she came to Missouri, but he didn't know what. He had tried to figure it out from Monroe, but she wouldn't tell him anything. What could have happened to make Hedda shut down like this?

There was so much going on right now. Jaxson had found his Little, but something was off. He had seen Sofia a while ago, about to start her shift, but she was pale and shaky. Which wasn't her normal complexion and it worried him. Something was definitely up, and he had told her to take the night off, but she brushed him off. Was she sick?

He didn't think Jaxson would allow her to work if she was sick. Had Jaxson seen her before she started her shift? Leo felt protective of Sofia since he found out she had gotten mugged walking home. It wasn't acceptable and he knew Jaxson would be taking care of the punishment.

If Hedda had done that, he would've blistered her bottom and sent her to stand in the corner. Putting yourself in danger was never an option and he didn't like that Sofia had done that.

"Did he say anything?" Oliver asked as he sat down next to him.

Leo once again looked at his phone and saw no messages.

"No," Leo replied.

"Do you think she'll come tonight?"

"I hope so, but I'm not sure she will. She hasn't every other time."

Oliver and Leo were in the dark about everything that was happening with her. Michael wouldn't tell them much besides that she was dealing with something, and Monroe wouldn't tell them anything. No matter how much they triedto bribe her with ice cream and candy. She wouldn't say anything.

"Are we going to do something?" Leo asked as he turned to his brother. "Or should we wait until we get more information? I don't want to do anything that will harm her or make things worse. Maybe we can ask her brother what happened."

It was so unlike Leo to be uncertain about things, but with Hedda he had been the past week. He didn't want to mess up what they had before she ghosted them. He didn't want to say something wrong or push her too hard but, at the same time, he wanted to be in the know.

Leo didn't like not knowing things.

"I'll call Rogan later and see if he can tell us," Oliver said in his calm voice.

Out of the two of them, Oliver was the quieter one, the more calculated one.

"Let's see what he has to say before we do anything," Oliver said.

Before Leo could respond, he saw Michael and Monroe step into the club and hope filled him. Was she going to be with them? It was like Michael knew they were staring at him because he turned his head and made eye contact. He gave them the briefest shake of the head before he walked with Monroe to the bar.

He felt sad when he realized she wasn't going to be there tonight. They had never met her in person, but they had several video and phone calls. They had been so close to getting her to meet up with them in person but right beforeshe ghosted them, she gave an excuse that she couldn't anymore.

Both of them were going to fly to New York to visit and meet her, but that all stopped when she stopped communicating with them. He had thought about still going but he was glad they hadn't because soon after she had come to Missouri. It was just in the past month they'd figured it out.

She had kept it a secret and he only found out by Monroe slipping up and mentioning that they had Hedda in their house. How long was she planning on staying with them? Was this just a short vacation or did she plan on staying here forever?

"Maybe we can talk to Michael about visiting her," Leo said. "I think that would be a good idea. He seems to know part of what happened to her."

"Not right now," Oliver said.

"Well obviously. This is their time to be together and I'm not going to ruin it by asking him questions. I'll ask tomorrow when he's at work.”

Leo wasn't dumb and if Hedda was here and he was playing with her, he wouldn't want anyone to interrupt them.

"I hope we get her in the end," Leo softly said.
