She shook her head and looked away from him. She wasn't about to spill her guts to him about what happened. They would look at her differently and she didn't want that. They couldn't find out that she had killed someone.
Murderer.
A shiver ran through her body at that thought. She never thought she would become a murderer. She tried so hard not to but she had. Hedda had followed in her brother's footsteps, it was in their blood.
She squeaked as another spank landed on her bottom. It was throbbing and she had definitely learned not to spit on Oliver again. Or trash the perfect room they made for her.
If she couldn't trash it, then she wouldn't stay in it. She couldn't. It was a constant reminder of what she could have had if she didn't kill Richard. She didn't need it taunting her in the face.
"I'm going to let you down now," Oliver said.
Her body started to relax knowing she wasn't going to be like this for much longer. She didn't like feeling so vulnerable.
She felt herself being slowly let down before her bottom hit the ground. A hiss fell from her lips as her hot and sore bottom touched the carpet. She didn't want to be sitting on it right now. It hurt.
"Maybe your hot bottom will remind you not to spit on Daddy," Oliver said.
Hedda did feel bad about spitting on him. She shouldn't have done that and knew it was wrong after she thought about it. Her emotions got the better of her, but she had allowed it to. She was trying so hard to focus everything on being mad at them.
"Can you rub her muscles as I take the rope off?" Oliver asked.
Both of them gently started to remove the rope and massage her muscles. This would be the perfect opportunity for her to get out of this, but she didn't want to risk the ropes getting tugged and hurting herself.
She knew they would be disappointed in her and she didn't want to cause any harm to her muscles like that. Ropes were dangerous if used wrong.
"Such a good girl," Leo softly said. "Such a good girl for Papa and Daddy."
She glared at him and looked away. Him massaging her muscles felt amazing. She could do this all the time. Hedda felt her body start to relax and she closed her eyes.
"Just relax," he said. "You're doing amazing."
Her head popped up and her whole body tensed. Shecouldn't be relaxing around them. She needed to be on alert in case they tried to do something.
"Shit," Leo mumbled.
"Hedda," Oliver said. "I need you to pay attention."
She looked over at him and saw just how serious he was. Shit. What was he going to say now?
"You're going to be put down for a nap. You need sleep," Oliver said.
"Fuck no," she replied. There was no way she was going to go to sleep. She didn't need the nightmares returning.
"It's not up for discussion," Oliver said. "You're going to be taking a nap because you need it. Michael said you haven't been sleeping and that ends today."
She glared at him and opened her mouth to curse at him but, before she could, he put his hand over her mouth.
"Listen and don't talk," he said. "You will be sleeping in the crib and your arms will be in restraints."
Hedda let out a whine at that. She didn't want to have restraints on her arms. Then she couldn't get out and leave whenever she wanted. She needed to leave them.
"We're doing this so you don't hurt yourself," Leo gently said.
"One of us will always be with you while you're awake. You won't be getting any privacy since you trashed your room," Oliver said. "You can't be fully trusted right now."
Hurt filled her face as he said that. She didn't know why it hurt so much, but it did. Hedda didn't like that they didn't trust her. Why did she have to care? Hedda was trying so hard not to have feelings other than anger, but it wasn’t working. Their words made her feel.
Leo opened his mouth to say something, but quickly shut it as he stared at her face. Hedda masked her face and looked away. She didn't need them knowing they hurt her feelings.
