"I do," Rogan's voice filled the barn.
"And who receives Hedda?" Marco winked at Hedda.
She had never heard an officiant say that before but Marco wasn't an actual officiant. He was probably making up all of this.
Hedda couldn't help but giggle.
"We do," Daddy said as he and Papa stepped forward.
Daddy and Papa grabbed a hand each and helped her up the stairs. It was awkward to walk up with both hands occupied, but she kept her mouth shut.
They hadn't practiced anything the night before. They didn't want to.
"Let's begin," Marco said.
Hedda zoned out as she looked at Daddy and Papa. Happiness buzzed inside of her.
"Do you Hedda take Oliver and Leo as your husbands?" Marco asked.
"I do," she softly said.
"Do you Oliver and Leo take Hedda to be your wife?"
"We do," both of them said.
"With the power invested in me, I pronounce you husband and wife."
Cheers filled the room as Daddy pulled her close and kissed her. It ended way too soon but before she could say anything, Papa kissed her.
"I love you," she whispered as Papa pulled away.
"I love you, too," Daddy said.
"I love you, as well," Papa replied.
Papa and Daddy grabbed her hands and led her down the aisle and out of the barn. They were going to take a couple of minutes while everyone else fixed the barn up.
It shouldn't take long since Hedda didn't want much changed. They just needed to bring out the tables.
"I love you so much," Daddy said. "I wish they allowed you to marry two people."
"It's okay," Hedda replied. "This was a dream come true."
He pulled her into his arms and held her close. Sure, it was different since it wasn't official, but it was official to her. They were in love and going to spend the rest of their lives together.
"Ready to go back in?" Papa asked.
They held their hands as they walked back into the barn. Everyone cheered as they walked into the barn and towards their table.
Hedda looked around and saw so many familiar faces but also several faces she didn't recognize.
Janie and Mac were sitting close and a little girl was in her arms. Hedda's eyebrows raised. She didn't think that Mac and Janie had a kid together. Did they?
Hedda briefly remembered her saying something when Sofia gave the announcement about her Green Card. Janie had mentioned about picking upherdaughter but she didn't sayourdaughter.
Was the daughter not Mac's? Were they together or not together? She had so many questions about them.
"Are you ready for some food?" Papa asked.
