"I missed you as well," She choked out. "Thank you."

Papa held onto her for a little longer. She loved feeling his arms around her.

"Let's get you into bed," Papa said. "You're tired and need your sleep."

"We'll see you in the morning," Daddy said. "We promise."

They helped her get into bed. It didn't feel right to sleep in here while they were in different rooms. She wanted to be with them.

Daddy and Papa kissed her head and walked towards the door.

"We'll see you in the morning," Papa said. "I love you."

"I love you," Daddy said.

"I love you, too," she said as she clutched Lila tighter against her.

Her heart rate picked up as they walked out of the door, gently closing it behind them. It was dark in here. Normally she didn't mind, but right now it bothered her.

Hedda closed her eyes and tried to fall asleep, but she couldn't. She turned on her side and snuggled into her pillow.

But sleep still didn't come.

Hedda let out a sigh before pushing the covers back and climbing out of bed. She couldn't sleep knowing they were in the rooms across from her.

She made her way out of her room and towards Daddy's room. His room was the closest and she had a feeling they were together right now, talking. They always seemed to be discussing things.

Entering his room, she found it empty. Where was he?

She quickly left his room and made her way towards Papa's. She hoped they were there. If not, she didn't know where they would be.

The closer she got, she saw the light on in the room. Her heart sped up as she started to open the door.

"Yes?" Papa asked. "Who's there?"

"Papa?" she whispered.

She stepped further into the room and saw Daddy and Papa sitting on the bed.

"What are you doing out of bed?" Daddy asked.

"I couldn't sleep," she gently said, looking down at her feet.

Would they be upset that she got out of bed?

"I didn't want to be apart from you any longer," she said, looking back up at them.

"Oh, Sweets," Papa said.

"I," she took a deep breath in. "I can go back to my room."

She didn't want to leave.

"No," Papa said. "Come here."

Hedda quickly made her way towards the bed. Daddy and Papa got off and pulled the covers back.

"Hop in," Daddy said.
