“Whatever I’m about to say you didn’t hear from me,” Miles said. “If you say it did, I’ll deny it and you won’t have any proof. I’m loyal to Rogan.”

Oliver and Leo nodded their heads.

“Understood,” Leo said.

“I went to Rogan’s house yesterday for business. When I went there, I saw Hedda through a window,” Miles said. “I don’t think she saw me, and I know Rogan doesn’t know I know she’s here.”

“Shit,” Oliver whispered.

This was just perfect. He should have kept a better eye on Hedda when they went out. Oliver should have insisted they look around the whole building.

But most of all, both of them shouldn’t have dismissed her brother so easily. He was a dangerous guy, and they knew that. Oliver didn’t think he would kidnap his sister to get her back.

“She doesn’t look well at all. Her skin is pale, and she looks thinner than normal,” Miles said. “She’s my best friend and I know she was happy around you guys. She talked to Storm a lot and she sounded genuinely happy. Something I haven’t heard in a while.”

“Thank you,” Oliver said.

“You’ll be getting a message soon with an address. After a minute it will disappear. Write it down.”

“We will,” Leo said. “Thank you.”

Miles nodded his head and ended the call. Oliver closed the computer and looked over at Leo. Hope filled him as the news processed in his mind. They were going to get Hedda back.

His phone went off and Oliver was quick to write it down before it disappeared. He didn’t know how Miles hadmanaged to do that, but he wasn’t going to question him. He had done a lot for Oliver and Leo.

“We’re going to New York,” Oliver said. “I’ll call Michael while you get the plane tickets.”

Leo nodded his head and got to work while Oliver dialed Michael.

“Yes?” Michael asked. “Any news?”

“We need time off. I don’t know how much but both of us need time off,” Oliver said.

“You found her?”

“Yes, and we’re going to get her back.”

“I’ll tell the guys. Don’t worry about work or anything. We’ll take care of it until you tell us you’re back.”

“Thank you.”

Oliver hung up the phone and leaned back into his chair. Leo was working on the computer, buying the earliest ticket to New York.

“Got them,” Leo said. “We need to head to the airport now.”

He got up from his chair. “Let’s go get our girl back.”

CHAPTER FORTY-ONE

HEDDA

“Oh, sweet Hedda,” Richard said. “Did you really think you could kill me and I wouldn’t come back? That I wouldn’t come and haunt you? Take away things you love?”

Hedda took a shaky breath in as Richard walked into the room. Why was he here? He shouldn’t be.

She was having a nice time with Papa and Daddy. Eating breakfast, joking around, and talking about what they were going to do for the day.

“No,” she whispered.
