“Rogan!” she yelled. “Let me fucking go!”

“Now,” Rogan said.

Dane and Lucius started to walk back towards her room, and she couldn’t do anything about it. No matter how much she tried to get out, they wouldn’t budge.

“Let me fucking go!” Hedda yelled towards them. “Let me fucking go. Now!”

But they continued to walk towards her room. How was she going to get out of this?

“Please!” she begged. “I’ll do anything if you let me go!”

Both of them kept silent as they neared her room. Were they really going to do this to her? Did they know what Rogan did?

They walked into her room and pushed her down onto the bed. Before she could get up and run after them, they were already out the door and closed it.

She grabbed onto the door handle, she twisted it and pulled, but they had already locked it.

“Fuck!” she yelled. “Just let me fucking out!”

Hedda banged onto the door several times, trying to get anyones attention. Maybe one of the maids would help her get out of the room. But deep down she knew none of them would help.

She couldn’t lose hope though. Maybe there was a newmaid or cook here that would take pity on her. Several of these maids knew who she was.

“Please!” she yelled. “Just let me out!”

But no one answered.

Hedda continued to slam her hands down on the door, trying to make as much noise as possible. At some point someone was going to have to come and tell her to shut up. It was going to get on everyone’s nerves that she was making so much noise.

She heard footsteps when she stopped banging on the door. Hope filled her as they got closer. Maybe this person was coming to help her.

“Please!” she begged. “Help me get out of here!”

“This is for your own good,” Rogan said and Hedda’s heart sank.

CHAPTER THIRTY-NINE

HEDDA

She leaned up against the door as she sat on the ground. She had no clue how much time had passed since Rogan told her it was for her own good.

Did he even know what was good for her? He hadn’t seen her in months and hadn’t truly talked to her. He didn’t know what she wanted or didn’t want.

Even if she told him, which she had, he didn’t listen to her. He was set on what he wanted and nothing was going to change that.

After Rogan had left, she had gotten up and checked the windows. They were bolted shut and there were bars on the outside.

Thick bars.

Hedda already knew that the glass was bullet proof and was extremely hard to break. How was she going to get out of this? Were Papa and Daddy looking for her?

Of course they were. She had told them she loved andwanted to spend the rest of her life with the two of them. She was slowly starting to become more happy.

She needed to have faith that they were doing everything they could to find her. They wouldn’t just let go of her so easily.

Hedda had spent minutes, or maybe hours, screaming and banging on the door, before she decided to sit down. No one had come to her aid. No one walked by the door to check if she was okay.

It was like they all left the house and left her there.
