"It's not my first choice because I know she doesn't like needles, but she needs to get fluids and food in her body."

Leo closed his eyes for a second. What were they going to do? They couldn't allow this to go on for much longer, not when she was putting herself in danger. This wasn't good and it wasn't acceptable.

"Has she left the house at all?" Leo found himself asking.

Michael had said that she was snapping at them when they suggested leaving the house. He hoped she was leaving the house, but from the way Michael said that, he knew that it wasn't happening.

"Not once," Michael said. "She's gotten paler. Skinner. She's exhausted because she hasn't been sleeping. I've toldher I can give her sleeping pills but she won't take them and she's been taking caffeine pills to help her stay awake."

"Fuck," Oliver said. "Do you know how long she's been doing that for?"

"I wish I could say. I've hidden all the medicine that she could use to help her stay awake. I've put a lock on the medicine cabinet, but in case she can get in there, I took a lot of it out."

"Has she said anything about what happened to her?" Leo asked.

"Nope. She hasn't talked to anyone and I'm starting to worry. She's bottled everything up and it isn't good."

Leo looked over at Oliver. They needed to do something and soon. This was their baby girl and they needed to take care of her.

"I'm telling you this because I know you two have feelings for her. If you're going to do something, you need to do it now," Michael said.

"Thanks," Leo said. "We'll talk real quick and let you know."

Leo already knew the answer. They were going to go get their baby girl no matter what but first he needed to make sure Oliver was thinking the same way he was.

They hung up and Leo looked over at Oliver.

"We need to go get her," he said. "Do you agree with me?"

"Do you fucking have to ask me that?" Oliver said. "I don't like that she's not taking care of herself. She's putting herself in danger and that is one of her rules."

"When we go get her, we can't force her to talk aboutanything right away. No doubt she'll be mad as hell at us for taking her. She's been ignoring us."

"No shit."

Leo glared at his brother.

"We need to be on the same fucking page for this," Leo said. "We may need to push her a little bit, but we can't push her a lot. We don't want to break her, but we don't want to let her sink in on herself anymore."

"I know," Oliver said. "I'm not dumb."

He sighed. "I'm not saying you're dumb. We just need to state things out loud so we can agree on how to handle her."

"Sorry," Oliver said. "I'm just worried about her."

"I know and I am too."

They sat in silence for a couple of seconds before Leo got up.

"Let's go get our girl," Leo said. "We'll tell Michael on our way to their house.”

CHAPTER FIVE

HEDDA

Hedda slowly blinks. She had been sitting in the corner of her room, her back against the wall, for who knows how long. Michael had left with Monroe and soon after she found herself pushing her back against the corner so she could see the door.

No one was going to come in, but she wanted to make sure just in case. Michael's house wasn't as secure as Rogan's and with no one else in the house, she didn't feel safe.
