"Oh my," she whispered.
Other Littles, Daddies, and Mommies filled the sides of the room. What were they all doing there just standing?
Her eyes zeroed in on Papa standing at the end. There was a cute little arch with flowers all over it.
"What is this?" Hedda asked as she looked up at Daddy.
"Let's go to Papa," he said.
She looked back at Papa as they started to walk towards him.
What was going on? Why was everyone looking at them?
Hedda and Daddy stopped right in front of Papa. Daddy let go of her hand and stood right next to Papa.
What was he doing?
"Papa?" she whispered, feeling anxious.
She didn't like this at all.
"You're okay," he replied. "Take a deep breath in."
Hedda took a deep breath in, trying to calm herself down. She looked around the room and saw all the Littles smiling at her.
Shit.
Something was about to happen. They were too happy.
"Sweets," Papa said. "Focus on us. You're okay."
Her eyes found his again. Was she going to be okay? There were so many people here and she didn't know. What was happening?
"We've known you for a while now," Daddy said. "We've gone through thick and thin."
Hedda nodded her head. That was an understatement. It was more thick than thin in her opinion. She had put them through the wringer but they stayed.
They showed her they cared and loved her.
"You've become the light of our world," Papa said. "The center of our universe."
Tears welled up in her eyes as both of them got down on one knee. She was not expecting that.
"Would you do the honor of marrying us?" Daddy asked.
Hedda's hand flew to her mouth and she nodded her head. Joy filled her as they both got up and slid the rings on her fingers.
"We love you," Papa said. "So much."
She wrapped her arms around them.
"I love you guys," she whispered.
Papa and Daddy pulled away from her. Charlotte, Echo, Kyle, Tucker, Blaise, Monroe, and Elsha surrounded her.
"Congrats!" Kyle yelled.
"I'm soooo excited for you!" Echo wrapped her arms around her.
