Hedda felt herself relaxing a little. She was worried that other people wouldn't be okay with her being aMiddle. Not everyone understood it. Or understood that she didn't like to regress further.

It just wasn't her.

"I know you must be worried about that," Sofia said. "No one here is going to judge you. We accept anyone."

That was such a relief to hear.

"Thank you," Hedda whispered.

"No need to thank me! We're going to be great friends!" Sofia exclaimed.

Hedda didn't know what to say. Were they going to be great friends?

Papa chuckled. "Once Hedda gets to know someone better, she'll talk non stop. Don't let this fool you."

Sofia laughed. "Oh, don't worry. I'm not fooled at all. I can see the fire inside of her."

"Naughtiness," Daddy mumbled.

"Hey!" Hedda exclaimed. "How many times do I have to say I'm not naughty."

"You are and there isn't anything else you can say," Papa said. "You've got a naughty streak inside of you. No denying it."

Hedda stuck her tongue out at Papa.

"Meanie," she said.

"Well, I need to go back to my Daddy. It was lovely meeting you Hedda! We'll definitely have to hang out soon," Sofia said.

"Nice to meet you as well!" Hedda said.

Sofia walked away and Hedda was left with her Daddies. Was it time to go home yet? She didn't know how long they had been there for.

"Janie and Mac are coming over," Daddy said. "Wonder if anything has happened there yet."

Hedda looked up with a confused face. What did Daddy mean by that?

"Hi," Janie said as she walked up. "I'm Janie."

"Hi, nice to meet you," Hedda replied.

"Ah, you must be Oliver and Leo's spitfire," another man said.

He must be Mac.

Spitfire? What did he mean by that?

"Mac," Daddy growled.

"What?" Mac replied. "it's the truth. From what I've heard she's kept you two on your toes."

Hedda looked down at her feet for a brief second. She had kept them on their toes, but she didn't think it was a bad thing. They hadn't complained about anything.

"It's not a bad thing," Papa said to her.

"Hedda, this is Mac, another owner of BTS," Daddy said.

"Nice to meet you," she whispered.
