She let out a sigh. "Sorry."

"No need to be sorry," Papa said. "We just want to talk about this. What has you worrying?"

She clasped her hands together and looked back at them.

"I'm nervous because the other Littles will be there. I'm not a Little," Hedda said.

"So?" Daddy said.

Papa hit his shoulder and glared at him.

"What Daddy meant to say is everything is going to be okay," Papa said. "Yes, there will be other Littles there. Yes, they are all excited to meet you. They know you're a Middle and they want to still be friends with you."

Was that true? Did they really want to get to know her and be friends?

"I had Finn, Charlotte's Daddy, texting me asking if you two could hang out sometime soon. Charlotte loved you and wants to become your friend," Papa said.

"The other Littles will love you as well. They don't care if you don't like diapers, bottles, or get into a younger headspace. They still want to get to know you," Daddy explained as he grabbed hold of one of her hands.

She nodded her head as she wrapped her brain around everything. Charlotte was very nice when she met her. It was brief, but she made her feel welcome and not like an outcast.

"So, would you like to go?" Papa asked. "We don't have to stay the whole time if you don't want to but I think it would be good to go."

"We'll be right next to you the whole time," Daddy said.

Hedda took a deep breath in and squeezed Daddy's hand.

"Okay," she whispered. "I guess we can go."

"Great. I'll let them know to expect us," Papa said.

*****

"Are you ready?" Daddy asked as they stopped in front of a door.

Hedda could hear all of the people in the other room. Nerves coursed through her body. Was she going to be able to make it through this?

"Are you okay?" Papa asked.

She shrugged her shoulders. She didn't know if she was going to be okay or not. It was nerve racking. She knew no one but Monroe, Michael, and Charlotte.

"That's not an answer," Daddy said. "Answer Papa."

"I don't know anyone," she whispers. "I'm nervous."

"You're going to be amazing," Papa said. "You know Charlotte, Monroe, and Michael."

"I have no doubt Sofia will come up and talk to you," Daddy said.

"Okay," she whispered.

They had told her that many people would come up to her during this get together and introduce themselves. Apparently several people were really excited to meet her.

She didn't know why. She wasn't anything special.

"Are you ready to go in?" Daddy asked.

"I guess," she replied.
