"We'll make sure you're sleeping between us so we feel when you wake up," Papa said. "When you realize we're serious about this, you'll wake us up. But until then we'll be close so we know when you wake up."

Hedda turned around and gave them a tight smile.

"We're going to get through this," Papa said.

She nodded her head. They were going to get through this.

"Through thick and thin," Daddy said. "No matter what."

Movement caught her eyes and she looked past the twins. Rogan was standing there, staring at them.

Shit.

How long had he been standing out there for? Had he been there since they arrived or did he just walk out?

Her palms started to get sweaty. She wanted him to approve of Papa and Daddy so badly. Everything in her wanted this to be perfect.

Would he make them leave again?

Rogan took a step forward and her whole body froze. Daddy and Papa turned around and saw him.

"Everything is going to be okay," Papa said. "There's nothing to worry about."

That was easy for him to say. He hadn't been ripped from the two people he loved and told he would marry someone else.

They didn't know Rogan was going to arrange a marriage for her and it was for their own good. Hedda suspected they would do something crazy and rash if they found out. She wanted Rogan to like them and vice versa.

Papa and Daddy definitely wouldn't like Rogan if they found out.

"Hello, Rogan," She said as he got closer.

"Can I talk to Oliver and Leo for a second?" Rogan asked.

Hedda stayed in her spot as she looked at Rogan. She wasn't going to go anywhere. They needed her here as a peacekeeper.

"We'll only be here for a couple of minutes," Rogan said. "You can hang out with them again after."

But she still didn't make a move to leave. Worry filled her. Why did he want to talk to them alone? Was everything okay? Was he going to get rid of them right now?

"Nothing is going to happen," Rogan said. "I just want to have a conversation guy to guy."

"Go, Sweets," Papa said.

"We'll be fine," Daddy said.

She let out a sigh and got up from the ground. She didn't like this one bit.

"Angelo is in the kitchen," Rogan said. "Go ask him for a snack."

"A healthy snack," Papa said. "No cookies yet."

Hedda rolled her eyes. Of course they would say no cookies. They were mean.

A swat landed on her bottom and she glared at Daddy.

"No attitude," Daddy said. "No rolling your eyes either. Papa said no cookies so you get no cookies. Only a healthy snack."

"I'll text Angelo to give her only a healthy snack," Rogan said.
