Page 3 of His Captor

Simon jerked, like he had snapped himself out of a trance of lust. His face was so red the planes flying in and out of the airport could use it to guide them.

“There’s nothing wrong with me having a type,” he mumbled as we both stepped up onto the curb.

I hugged Simon, for more reasons than the fact that I was going away for a few days. I loved my brother, and my sincerest wish for him was that he’d loosen up a little from the hold that our parents had over him. Because that’s what it was that kept him chained to a job and a personality he wasn’t comfortable with. That’s what kept him too shy to get his own kink on.

“You be good,” I told him as I broke the hug and stepped back.

“I always am,” Simon sighed, gloomy as ever.

With a final wave, I turned to head into the terminal. It really broke my heart that Simon wasn’t happy. He was the best person I knew, and he deserved every happiness.

So did I, come to think of it, but my happiness was made up of something else entirely.

I checked my bags for my flight, then headed through security and up to the business-class lounge to wait for my flight. Blessedly, the company I worked for sent their employees to conferences in business-class. Even if they hadn’t, with my family’s money, I would have upgraded my ticket. I was flying clear across the country, and there was no way I would do that in coach.

I had other reasons to want the privacy that the business-class lounge afforded. As soon as I settled into a cushy chair that looked out over the tarmac, I pulled out my phone and opened the Dark Fantasies Club app again.

Kidnapping fantasies were super common with people in the Dark Fantasies Club. I’d never had any trouble finding an alpha who wanted to grab me off the street, stuff me in his car, and take me to some undisclosed location to fuck me into oblivion…all in the carefully pre-arranged manner we’d discussed.

I wasn’t as familiar with the alphas of Port Lucia, though. I wasn’t going to pick any rando. Even though everyone on the app was vetted and checked, I had incredibly specific ideas about what I wanted.

I wanted someone intelligent, not just hot. I had a better time with the fantasies when the alpha put a lot of thought and energy into planning. The more elaborate the scenario he created, the more fun I had. I was looking for someone who would invest deeply in the make-believe I’d told Simon the whole fantasy was.

I found him about five minutes before boarding was called for my flight. His app name was Ace—almost no one used theirreal names on the app—and along with his profile pic, which was stunning and exactly my type, he had pics of his play space. It was filled with tech, as far as I could see. Most of it was a complete mystery to me. I couldn’t work out what half the things in his apartment were supposed to do.

I loved that.

As my flight was called, I typed a quick message to Ace through the app, saying I could call him when I landed in Port Lucia in a few hours if he was interested in playing, tapped send, then closed the app and went off to board my flight.

Five hours later, when I’d gone through arrivals, collected my suitcase, and found a cab to take me to the conference hotel, I had a reply from Ace. He was interested. More than that, he gave me his phone number and asked me to call.

I dialed so fast I was surprised I hit all the numbers right.

“Hello?” a deep, sensual, slightly confused voice answered me.

That voice hit me right in my core with just the one word. I swear, my womb squeezed in approval.

“Hi, Ace?” I asked. “This is Billy, from the Dark Fantasies Club.”

My middle name was William, so I used ‘Billy’ on the app an in all my fantasies. It wasn’t technically lying about my name, but it protected me.

“Billy,” Ace said, perking up a little. “It’s nice to talk to you.”

“And to you,” I said. “I’d like to do more than talk,” I went on, being as shameless and flirty as possible.

“As would I,” Ace answered.

I sucked in a small breath. I loved his slightly formal, no-nonsense way of talking.

“I’m attending a conference for the next couple of days,” I went on, getting down to business myself. “But it’s over on Friday afternoon. I would be available until Monday night once that’s done.”

“Good. Right. I could rearrange my schedule to make that possible.”

Another shiver went through me. He was going to switch up his schedule to play with me.

“What did you think of my scenario suggestions on the app?” I asked.

“I liked them,” he said. I wasn’t the only one trying to sound sexy and flirty. The low, almost predatory growl in Ace’s voice had me in danger of soaking right through my trousers.
