I whimpered with anticipation when I heard him unbuckling his belt. A second later, there was a soft whooshing sound as he pulled the leather strip out of the loops of his pants.
I let out another whimper, legs trembling. “Please,” I whispered, desperate to feel him inside me again.
There was a split-second whistling sound in the air. Then the belt came down on my bare ass, leaving a hot, stinging stripe on my skin. Panic exploded in my chest as pain raced across my nerve endings, and I screamed through the gag in my mouth.
“Did you think I was going to fuck you?” Killian asked. The belt struck me again, making my eyes bulge as my flesh burned. “Did you really think I’d come and give you exactly what you wanted?”
“Please!” I begged, voice garbled by the gag. “Stop!”
“You don’t seem to have grasped the reality of your situation yet,” Killian went on, ignoring my agonized cries. “So let me explain it to you. You belong to me. That means you do as I say. You do not lie to me. You do not talk back to me. You do not defy me in any way. Do you understand that?”
The belt whizzed through the air again, leaving another stinging welt on my skin. My eyes scrunched shut, and I whimpered through the gag, arms going limp as I sagged against the cross. “Yes.”
Killian brought the belt down again, crisscrossing my ass cheeks with two savage slashes. “If you want to defy me again, that’s up to you. I won’t give you any more warnings. But Iwillenjoy whipping you into submission.” He smacked me again, hard enough to make my legs buckle. “Every.”Strike.“Fucking.”Strike.“Second.”
“Please…” I mumbled through the gag.
Killian didn’t hear me. Or maybe he did, and he simply didn’t care. The blows kept raining down on the bare skin of my ass and thighs, harder and harder with each stroke. Tears rolled down my cheeks and over my lips, filling my mouth with their salty taste, and I jerked and flailed on the cross, trying to move out of the way every time I heard the belt whistling through the air again.
The whipping suddenly stopped, and I gasped with relief as Killian removed my panties from my mouth. “You said you were sorry earlier, but you were obviously lying,” he said. “Have you changed your mind now?”
“Yes!” I cried out. “I’m sorry. So sorry.”
He coasted a cool hand over my stinging ass cheeks. “Beg for my forgiveness.”
“Please… please forgive me,” I whimpered.
“Not good enough.” He lifted the belt and brought it down, leaving another fiery slash on my ass.
I let out a piercing shriek. “I’m sorry!” I screamed. “Please forgive me.Please.I’ll do anything!”
“That’s what I like to hear.” Killian leaned in and planted a mocking kiss on the side of my neck. “So do it. Tell me what I need to know.”
I squeezed my eyes shut as a fresh set of tears brimmed in them. “I… I can’t.”
The belt cracked over my skin again, four more times. My agonized screams rose higher and higher until my voice cracked, morphing into a hoarse, pitiful squeak.
“Tell me,” Killian hissed against my ear.
I swallowed a hard lump in my throat and shook my head. “You might as well kill me,” I whispered. “I’m never going to tell you anything because there’s nothing to tell.”
He made a clicking sound with his tongue. “You really don’t need to put yourself through this,” he replied, rubbing his hand over my ass again. Then he stepped around to my right side so I could finally see his face. “I told you, I’m not going to hurt your friends.”
I didn’t believe him. Not even for a second. He’d already hurt me terribly, and as far as I knew, he was also the one who put Cori in a coma. There was no way he’d let Ashleigh, Rumer, and Dionne off the hook without a single scrape.
“I have nothing to say to you,” I said, squaring my jaw and looking him right in the eye.
For a second, I thought I saw admiration for my grit flickering in his eyes. Then it was gone, replaced with cold anger.
“Okay,” he said, stepping back behind me. “So you want more.”
“No. Please. I—”
Before I could finish my sentence, the belt sliced through the air again, and the whipping resumed.
I didn’t scream this time. I gritted my teeth and stayed silent, refusing to give Killian the satisfaction of knowing how much pain I was in.
“This is only going to get worse for you, Shay,” he said between strikes. “How are you going to feel after a whole week of this? Will you still be silent then?”
