“Not as much as I like it when it’s just me and someone I care about,” I ended up saying.
“Right.” Nate turned his head away. “I think I know what you mean.”
We got out and dried ourselves with the soft, fluffy towels the club had provided for us. There was a blow-dryer, deodorant, and makeup on the vanity as well, so I used them to touch myself up before slipping back into my dress and heels.
“Ready to go?” Nate asked, holding out a hand.
I nodded, picked up my purse, and followed him out of the room. In silence, we headed down the stairs and into the foyer.
Victoria was already there waiting for us. When she spotted us, she stood up and held out one hand. Two ornate golden keys sat in her palm.
“Congratulations, you two,” she said with a bright smile, passing the keys to us. “Welcome to the Mayfair.”
