Cole: And if I want to tell you?
Adriana: I don’t know if I’m ready to hear it.
Cole: Listen, I’m just going to put it out there and then we can go from there. I do want to be your friend.
Adriana: That’s good.
Cole: But Adriana, I don’t want to just be your friend. I want to see if there could be more to us than that.
Adriana: I do like the honesty.
Cole: It’s the only way to be. It’s how I was raised.
Adriana: Me too.
Cole: It’s also the only way I’ll find out if you feel the same way.
Adriana: Would you be upset If I said I need time to think?
Cole: No, you take your time. I’m not going anywhere.
Adriana: Thank you Cole. You played great today.
Cole: Thank you. It’s nice to know you were watching.
Adriana: Night Co
Cole: Night darlin’
Well, now I need to figure out if I’m brave enough to let him in or if he’s going to be kept at arm’s length.

CHAPTER TWENTY
Cole
I lock my phone and put it back on the charger next to the bed. I’m in a state of shock as Ty comes out of the bathroom of our shared hotel room. He doesn’t notice me at first since he’s looking down at his phone. Ty walks to his bed and sits on it, and then looks over at me.
“What’s wrong?” Ty asks with concern.
“Adriana texted me because Heather showed her another picture she took.” I respond to him.
“What picture?” he says while looking clueless.
“Your wife snuck a picture of us that night when we watched a movie at my place when she fell asleep and I had my arm around her.” Showing him the picture as I finish speaking.
“She didn’t tell or show me that one, just the one from yesterday.” He whines.
“She sent it to me that night.” I smugly tell him.
“Oh?” he questions.
“Oh what?” I volley back to him.
“Just surprised you haven’t mentioned it to me.” Ty says with a grin.
“I haven’t mentioned it to anyone.” Telling him the truth because I haven’t mentioned or showed anyone.
