Adriana: It was good. We got lots of stuff done for the foundation

Cole: That’s great babe. I’m going to go eat with guys. I’ll FaceTime with you when I get back to my room

Adriana: sounds good. I'll go get my towel ready

Cole: I’ll be looking forward to it

I stayed on the phone with Cole until he was ready for bed. Like anyone else he hates losing. The team does too. Heather and I have appointments for Grizzlies Care today. Before the day gets away from me I go to text Cole but he beats me to it.

Cole: Have a great day babe. I’ll call you after the game

Adriana: You too! You guys got this today!

Cole: Hell yeah we do!

Heather and I are celebrating after the game ended. The guys pulled the win out tonight. We both go to text our guys to congratulate them.

Adriana: I knew you guys would win! You looked so good on tv tonight

Cole: Thanks sugar. I can’t wait to see you tomorrow

Adriana: I can’t wait to see you either. I miss you

Cole: I miss you more

Adriana: Probably. I am amazing

Cole: That you are

Adriana: awww shucks. Stop………no go on

Cole: Haha. Ty asked me to help him out on Saturday with something. Do we have plans?

Adriana: Not unless you made them without me

Cole: I just wanted to spend the day in bed

Adriana: We can spend Sunday in bed

Cole: That’s a good way to end the weekend

Adriana: Sure is Casanova

Friday took so long to come. Now that it’s here I’m anxious because I don’t know how he will react to his birthday party tomorrow. If I know him like I think I do then he’ll love it. After what Heather shared with me I have some reservations but he deserves to be celebrated and enjoy it.

Just as I look at the time to see if he is on his way home he lets me know.

Cole: Boarding the plane now. See you in a few hours

Adriana: Have a safe flight. Can’t wait to be in your arms

CHAPTER FORTY

Adriana

“Cole seemed to enjoy his birthday.” Heather comments Monday morning as we get ready for our Zoom meeting.

“He did. I gave him shit for not telling me about it, though, yesterday.”
