“Yes,” Devlin agreed. “And there’s no way to know how many of these phones he handed out. “
“Nope.”
“You need to send a copy of that to Brown and fill him in.”
Amberly thought so as well, so she took his phone and snapped a picture, then sent it to her boss, explaining what it was.
“Send that pic to Charley, too, just in case.”
Amberly found her in the contacts and felt a little guilty about glancing back through their history. There wasn’t much there, mostly him giving updates. Her opening message to him had been Moon Devil, obviously to get his attention. Who the hell was this woman?
Switching screens, she typed off a text to Brown to keep her computer use incognito.
Give me five minutes.
Researching on the computer would be a hell of a lot easier than on a borrowed phone.
