Chapter Three
The sun lazily made its way into the bedroom and illuminated every corner of the room. My body was still caught on a high from last night’s lovemaking. Duncan was careful and paid extra attention to not hurting me. Even though I regretted the first few seconds it slowly turned into the most exhilarating experience I’ve ever encountered.
I rolled onto my other side, finding Duncan’s side empty. It was still warm which meant he only got up recently. I grabbed the blanket and wrapped it around myself as I was searching for my shirt when I found Duncan entering the bedroom, wearing only shorts.
He was carrying two mugs and balanced a plate of baked goods on his forearm. “Is that cake?” I asked, grinning.
He gave me a sheepish smile. “Brenda’s chef bakes a mean cake,”
I chuckled and sat up.
“How are you feeling?” He asked, leaning in to kiss me.
“I am fine,” I wrapped my hand around his neck and pulled him down to meet his lips. I took the chance of distracting himby wrapping my other arm around his torso and pulling him down. I rolled us over with the momentum and smiled when I heard his contagious chuckle.
“That’s cheating, babe,”
I crawled onto his chest, making our naked chest touch, and beamed at him. “That’s called being a genius,”
I snuggled his hand when he reached up to cup my face. “You are my genius and quarterback,”
“And you are my all-state, irresistibly handsome center,”
I found his lips and kissed him softly and slowly.
He rolled me onto my back and hovered over me. Images of his body driving into me, set my body on fire, and as embarrassing as it sounded, I wanted to do it again.
I lifted my leg and pulled him closer to make our bodies touch, right there. He moaned into my mouth and awakened my desire. No one could fuel the fire in my soul like Duncan did.
He jerked his hips forward, making me eagerly moan. But we couldn’t really get anywhere as my phone vibrated on the nightstand.
“I need to get that,” I unfortunately had to rupture our bubble.
Duncan understood and reached out to grab my phone. He stared at the out-of-date technology. “I need to get you a new one,”
I rolled my eyes at him. “Cell phones are meant to receive and send calls,”
I pressed the answer button when I saw it was Eliza. “I was starting to wonder when you were going to call,”
Duncan rolled away and before he could cover up, I saw that he was turned on. I felt kind of bad for teasing him like that.
“I was a bit sidetracked by the splendid art in France but now I am back,”
“Back?” I scrambled to sit upright.
“Yes, I am at your dorm but where are you?”
My eyes widened. “You are back?”
“I just said that,” She answered dully. “Where are you?”
I blushed. “I am with Duncan,”
“Oh,”
I curled a piece of my hair behind my ear. “Yeah,” I drawled, hoping she would get it.
“Oh, oh, well don’t let me interrupt,” Eliza said with a naughty voice.
