I shrugged. “If you feel up to explaining to my friends about what happened last night,”

He still didn’t remove his arm and I felt a bit surprised. I lifted my head and glanced at him over my shoulder.

“I’m not shy, angel. We are what we are. Sex or no sex. I am your man and you’re my girl.”

“You certainly don’t lack any flirtatious skills,” I noted with a grin.

He wiggled his eyebrows making me snicker and return my attention to plating up food for myself.

“Oh, and by the way,” He began and moved his mouth behind my ear. “I forgot to mention how beautiful you are,” He whispered and moved away—leaving me to battle with my emotions by myself.

I slipped on a poker face when I joined Clarissa and Megan at their table. “Do you mind explaining to us what all of that was about?” Clarissa queried empathizing with her hands.

“Brandon asked me to be his girlfriend and I said, yes.” It wasn’t a big deal since I confessed my feelings.

“Yeah, that’s kind of obvious, but something else is going on,” Clarissa muttered having trouble figuring it out.

“You don’t blush,” Briana pointed out joining the table after eavesdropping on our conversation.

I arched an eyebrow. “Has nobody informed any of you that it’s rude to stare at people?”

“How can we not stare when it’s obvious that you two want to rip off each other clothes and have sex on the buffet table?” Briana softly exclaimed.

I suppressed the urge to arch both my eyebrows at how easy it was to see that something was going on between us.

I caught Clarissa’s knowing look when I raised my gaze, but at least decided to keep it to herself and I only realized that it must be awkward to talk about her ex-boyfriend having sex with his new girlfriend.

So, I too decided to act dumb and planned on keeping last night’s and this morning’s events to myself.

Jaylin and Camille joined me after breakfast to help pack my bags since we are leaving for our next game coming up in a week. Camille and Corbin are leaving since she has to get back to her reality while Jaylin and Travis will stay until the end of the tournament.

“Do you know if Brandon is joining you for the next couple of weeks?” Jaylin asked.

“I don’t know, I haven’t asked,” I noted. “He probably should get back to his reality.”

We looked up in unison at the door when there was a knock. “Probably the boys,” Jaylin noted getting up from the bed to answer the door.

I didn’t miss the questioning look on Camille’s face when I was caught being silent for longer than a few minutes.

“How was last night’s date?” She asked.

The side of my mouth edged up when I remembered how surprised he was. “It went well,”

“Is that why you are so quiet this morning?” I picked up on her sarcasm.

I always wondered how it would feel having an older sibling, but then again, with them around I already knew the feeling.

“You know, don’t you?” I was referring to the events after the basketball game.

Camille shrugged. “I was only a guess, but you just confirmed it.” She remarked with a grin. “We went to your room this morning to find out how things went, but you weren’t there and it was easy to guess where we will find you.”

Ohgod, was I that obvious?

She chuckled when my eyes widened and I couldn’t come up with a quick enough remark.

“Oh, hey, come on in,” I glanced over my shoulder at Jaylin’s not-so-surprised voice and noticed it was Brandon with his bags.

He smiled at me when he made his way into the room. Our eyes were the first to meet and everything about how I used to act around him faded because the girl who had broken down her walls was screaming with delight at the sight of him.
