“Do you believe that Brandon will reject you based on still being a virgin?” She asked picking up on my concern.
I shrugged. “He already did,”
She caught my look of shame and sighed. “What happened?”
“I don’t know if you can call it second base because I am not completely sure what it was, but we were kissing and he started touching me places I’ve never been touched.”
“On the brink of having an orgasm—he just stopped.”
“Did he say why?” She asked without judging.
“Something about not wanting to rush things and being afraid of hurting me when it comes to the point,” I explained still unsure what he meant.
“I don’t think he rejected you based on you being a virgin, Sash,” Camille noted.
“He’s afraid of hurting you because for years he had to bottle up his emotions for you. Now being able to touch and kiss you, can get overwhelming for him. He can get over-excited and end up hurting you, and I don’t think he’ll be able to live with himself.”
I still didn’t get it. “I won’t break,” I argued.
“Yes, but it does hurt before it turns into pleasure and it’s a piece of you that can never grow back.” She clarified.
“Are you telling me that he believes I am going to regret it after making love?”
She shrugged. “Maybe, because it is a big step.”
“I never make over-hasty decisions or do things I haven’t thought about.”
She nodded and then smiled when Jaylin finally joined us.
“Morning, what am I missing?” Jaylin asked placing her plate down on the table before taking a seat.
“Sasha and Brandon,” Camille remarked bringing a frown to Jaylin’s face.
“They finally made peace and already drifting in the direction of getting naked under the covers together,” Camille added.
Jaylin gave me a baffled questioning look. “Wow, here I thought you planned to become a nun.”
“I never said I want to become a person who dedicates their whole life to God.”
“I didn't know nuns can participate in exciting activities," Camille remarked.
I snorted to cover up my laughter and Jaylin just shook her head at Camille—probably wondering where we found her.
"So, were there some exciting activities going on in your room that I should be concerned about?" Jaylin asked with a playful smile.
I explained to her what I explained to Camille and it felt a bit easier since I had already spoken about it.
“It’s a lot of pressure on Brandon because you are handing the keys to your innocence to him.”
“I don’t understand,”
“A man feels honored when a girl trusts him by gifting him with her innocence, especially one that they truly love and care about. It’s a form of purity because he is the only man you’ve been with.” I don’t know why it’s such a big deal. I love him and want to do this with him there shouldn’t be any second-guessing.
“Brandon respects you and you need to accept that, Sasha. He is a man who doesn’t make irrational decisions—just like you, he thinks about them.”
“I just thought for a moment I was a turn off when he realized that I have never done this before,” I muttered feeling like a jerk or a tiny bit immature.
Jaylin shook her head at me. “I just think he was very overwhelmed with the idea that you trusted him to go that far and it would have probably caused him to have a heart attack.”
