I used my arm to shield my exposed cock just as he hid his with his hands. “Hi, what the hell is going on?”

“It is what it looks like. It’s about to get interesting now.”

“Aliens are real, they are actually freaking real!” I yelled before calming myself. “They were aliens, right?”

“Yeah, they walk upright like us, but that was no human language I’ve ever heard of, and I’ve traveled all over.”

“Where are we?”

“It’s a moon. I spotted it from the observation room just before the attack. I saw that massive bug-like ship barreling right for us, but before I could say anything, they vented half the room to space.”

“Holy shit! You survived that?”

“I was near the doors when it happened, trying to get to the command room or some shit I had in my brain. I held onto the bars for dear life until one of the RAs hit the emergency lock on the doors. They didn’t take long to board in our area on deck seven. We got the worst of it, for sure. Bastards caught me before reaching the service ladders.”

“I was on deck five when it happened. I even saw someone die… they got me.” I was done lamenting about our predicament. “As excited as I am about aliens. How the heck can we get out of here?”

“So far, everybody taken from here hasn’t returned. They brought me here with eight others, and I was the only one until they brought you in, so unless we get ourselves out, we’re in big trouble.”

“If we can sneak onboard a colony ship, then I think we can sneak out of here.”

Mr. Shady, I mean Cormac, laughed; perhaps he had already given up?

“Well, Cormac, it’s just you and me.”

One of those armored clad… aliens… entered. Now I was more lucid, and I could make out the smack markings etched in what looked like dark polished silver. It kept its helmet on but looked like a regular human head shape. I couldn’t tell if its hands were clawed or if that was the armor’s design, which looked like gauntlets. What set them apart as something more was the canine-like legs, which were clad in armor with sharp spikes protruding from the back.

I saw the look of horror on Cormac’s face. He was a man with sharp, angular features and crystal eyes. He looked hard himself, but he couldn’t hide the fear and uncertainty.

“Well, I guess this is my time.” He winked at me, and it filled me with hope. Did he have a plan, or was this simply a charming goodbye?

“Cormac!” I cried, unsure.

“Maybe we’ll see each other again.” He smirked, and once the guard grabbed him, he pushed his body into the alien, driving it back, causing its weapon, a giant spear, to drop to the floor and roll to me. I reached my arm through the bars as Cormac struggled to gain leverage.

I ignored the massive pain shooting up every nerve. The spear was cold and heavy as if they had made it from the same material as his armor.

I groaned as I lifted my body, using the spear as support and slipping it into my cell. I gripped it and ran the sharp, vicious-looking blade into the alien’s neck. The creature sputtered something in its language as black… blood… spewed and shot forth in a small fountain.

“Get me out of here!” I yelled when I heard more of those voices outside.

“Gotta make our own way,” Cormac said, dashing out the doors ahead and leaving me behind! I should’ve known not to trust him!

“No!” I yelled this couldn’t be! I rattled the bars, shouting every obscenity I could, when I noticed a small device on the floor beside my bars. It looked like a credit card but thicker, unbendable, and the edge was jagged. I glanced at Cormac’s cell and the one next to it; there was a slot!

I went to the lock on my door, reached my hand out with the card, and inserted it, and sure enough, the slight buzz went off, and the cell had sprung open.

I wasted no time running for those same doors, not giving a damn if I was running naked as the day I was born!

But, like my escape to the pod, it didn’t matter.

I slammed hard into the metal, which sent me crashing to the ground.

I looked up, ready to run again, when I saw those fierce black pools staring down at me, a smooth, sharp face contorted in anger and long, slightly waved sun-kissed hair.
