"Maybe she was afraid of getting too close to you, because she lives next door to your real parents. Every day she saw your mom and dad she knew you were alive and living a lie with someone else." She shook her head in bemusement. "It's hard to believe."

"Aunt Kim wanted you to die. She said it was time to get you out of her way. She mentioned an explosion was coming soon. That's when I knew I had to get out of the van. When it slowed down, I threw open the door and jumped."

"You could have been killed."

"I didn't think about that. I just knew I had to get away. I thought they might follow me, but they needed to get on the plane and leave the country. So, I guess they let me go."

"I'm really glad you took such a courageous leap to save my life, Hannah."

"I think you saved mine, too."

Andi moved forward and wrapped her arms around Hannah. "It's going to be okay now. Everything will be fine. I'll make sure of it." As she stepped back, Flynn and Nick came over.

"Nick will drive Hannah to the office," Flynn said. "Why don't you and Bradford head over to the Benedict's house? An agent will meet you there in about twenty minutes with Elisa. And Andi, I don't want to see you in the office until tomorrow at the earliest," he told her. "Get some rest. You look like hell."

"There's so much to do," she protested.

"And you'll be doing a lot of the wrap-up, but not tonight. I think you're out of danger. Whoever wasn't on that plane is probably more concerned with saving themselves, than hurting you."

"I think so, too." She gave Hannah an encouraging smile. "I'll see you tomorrow. Just tell the truth. That's the best thing you can do now."

"I will," Hannah said.

She turned to Cooper. "Let's go deliver some good news."

It was past ten o'clock at night when they pulled up in front of the Benedict's house. Andi had forgotten to ask Flynn if anyone had notified the family but judging by the lights blazing in every room in the house, everyone was up, so they must have gotten word.

As they got out of the car, a black SUV pulled up behind them, with Beck behind the wheel. Caitlyn got out and opened the back door. Andi ran down the sidewalk to catch her first glimpse of the smiling face of Elisa Benedict, who was grabbing her toes and looking absolutely perfect, not a scratch on her. A wave of gratitude ran through her. This story was going to have a happy ending.

"Why don't you do the honors?" Caitlyn said, as she pulled the baby out of the car seat and handed her to Andi. "Beck and I are heading to the LA office to help with the interviews."

"Happy to do so," she said, cuddling the wide-awake baby, who was giving her a sweet smile. "You're home," she told Elisa. "Back where you belong."

They walked up to the house and had no sooner stepped onto the porch when the door opened, and Neil and Claire ran out.

She handed Elisa to Claire, who was sobbing again, but this time they were happy tears.

"Oh, my God! Oh, my God!" Neil said as he put his arm around his wife and child.

His parents came onto the porch next and told them all to come inside.

She and Cooper followed the family into the house. As Claire and Neil's parents went into the living room, Neil turned to them with a grateful and weary expression.

. "Thank you," he said, his eyes filled with moisture. "When Agent MacKenzie called, I still wasn't sure it was true. But you brought our girl home. And I can't tell you how thankful I am. I know I didn't treat you very well, Agent Hart. I was suspicious, angry, and hostile—"

"You were afraid for your daughter," she interrupted. "That was completely understood and never a factor in our investigation."

"Agent MacKenzie said you'd give me the details, but all I really need to know right now is if she was hurt in any way." He licked his lips. "I don't even want to say it, but—"

"It doesn't appear that she was abused at all," she reassured him. "She was very well cared for, because she was going to be given to a family who wanted to adopt a baby. Those parents probably would have had no idea that she had been kidnapped. She would have gone with a new identity."

"How is that even possible?" Neil asked in amazement. "Who takes a baby without knowing everything about them, who their parents are, where they came from?"

"Someone desperate," Cooper said. "But all that matters is that Elisa is home."

"I don't know that I'll ever take my eyes off her again. The FBI told me Kristine was involved and Daniel Guerrero, too. They were people I trusted. I guess Solange didn't know anything about it, but I don't know that I can ever trust her again. I don't know that I can trust anyone except my family to be in my house, to take care of my daughter."
