“Everything okay?”
“Uh. Yeah.”
The pause between the two words makes me believe that’s likely not true. It’s probably his wife, so it’s nothing I want to talk about.
“What do you want to do today?” I ask, leaning against the door jamb.
He tosses his phone and runs a hand over his face before letting out a deep exhale. “I’m open to anything.”
I arch a brow. “Is that so?”
Adrian’s head goes back slightly. “Uh-oh. Should I be afraid?”
Walking toward his bed, I continue to grin at him. “Notafraid. Maybeexcited.”
I crawl onto the bed and between his legs, forcing him to lie back as I hover over him.
“I feel very excited right now, but it’s only been fifteen minutes since I came, so.”
I laugh. “Don’t worry. I won’t try to get anything else out of you right now.”
“But I do oweyousomething,” he says, hands landing on my sides.
“Later.”
He pouts. “What if I wanted to do it now?” His hands move toward the waistband of my lounge pants.
“I said later,” I say in a stronger tone with space between each word.
His eyes widen briefly before narrowing with lust. “Oh.”
“Mm. Now kiss me.”
He does so quickly, his hands reaching for my face as he presses his lips against mine. When I pull away, I get on my knees between his legs.
“Tonight, we’re going out. Don’t wear anything super casual. No jeans or T-shirts. No shorts.”
Adrian gets up on his elbows. “Where are we going exactly?”
I run my hands down his thighs. “I think you have an idea.”
“What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas?” he questions.
“I hope not.”
We go out and eat at a hotel nearby, taking some time to be tourists inside the resort. We walk to other resorts before deciding to head back to our own.
“It’s so fucking hot out here,” Adrian complains.
“I have a cabana reserved at one of the pools,” I tell him. “If you’re interested.”
He faces me. “A cabana?”
“We’ll have our own little area to sit and relax. They have curtains on each side, so we can draw them closed. The pool is twenty-one and older, and much more private and quiet than the beach one they have.”
“Did you reserve this before you knew I’d be here?”
I swallow. “Yes.”
