“I can do this all night, Mia. Can you?”

“It just appeared,” I cried. “It was in my brush drawer. I don’t know who put it there.” Ecstasy rushed through my system, overpowering the pain from the electricity.

“When?”

I shook my head. “I…” My eyes rolled to the right as I searched for the answer, but I drew a blank on a specific date. “I can’t think.”

“You better try harder.”

A dribble of sweat moved down my temple in abrupt rushes until it ran under my jaw and down my throat, stopping at the noose around my neck, chafing my skin as I scratched around in my brain for the answer.

Katya was there.

We were discussing something.

Nina.

She was his future, Katya said.

I was going somewhere.

“Um.” I whimpered a pathetic whine as a solid mass built heavy in my lower belly.

“I recognize that sound, milaya.”His deep baritone wrapped around me. “It gets worse the more you come.”

My legs shook, and my hair pulled as I dropped my head. I bit my lower lip, fighting the impending cataclysm, the urge to pee indescribable, but it was useless.

I tipped over the precipice, and wave after wave of euphoria poured over me as a rush of warmth dripped from my labia.

“You squirted, you filthy toy,” he said over my screams as the pain invaded the ecstasy, causing my body to spasm. “I wonder what will happen next time.”

“Please, stop.”

“Tell me what I want to know.”

My eyes rolled into my skull as I forced my mind back to the very moment the cocaine hit my hand in that precious little baggy, promising me unbridled happiness.

“I was going somewhere when…” I grunted. “Turn it off. Please. I’m telling you what you want to know. Please turn it off.”

Moments slipped by, and the assault continued, pulling every muscle in my body taut against my restraints. And then there was nothing.

My ears hummed with the remnants of vibrating noise, and my skin cooled as the flesh loosened into a limp pile when I closed my eyes. If it weren’t for the bones embedded in my skin, I would have melted through my restraints and puddled on the floor, mixed with my come and his.

“Thank you.” My chin trembled, and my eyes burned with sweet salvation. “Thank you.” A tear raced down my cheek, but his thumb caught it, and my lids flew open.

“My grace is short-lived, so tell me… when?”

“I was talking to Katya about Nina.”

“Why?”

I swallowed, and the rope moved against my throat. “I was curious about her.”

“And?”

“That’s when I found it in the drawer. She was getting me ready to leave.” My heart jumped as the outfit she’d laid out for me flashed in my mind. “The hospital. That’s when I first saw it.”

“At the hospital?”
