“I mean, three football players?” He gave me a disgusted look. “Could you be more of a cliché? Just hope you make ’em wrap it up. I’m sure everyone’ll be pissed if you spread something between CSU’s precious athletes.”

My face burned, which must’ve been enough for him because he just grinned triumphantly and finally left me alone.

I went on my way, but I wasn’t hungry anymore. I didn’t know if Jason was just guessing, or if there were new rumors going around about me, but these had some truth to them. I had slept with two of them, and Logan and I hadn’t exactly kept things platonic.

But if everyone already thought that I’d slept with Logan—and if Jason was the only one right now, I knew he wouldn’t keep those thoughts to himself very long—maybe I should look at things a different way.

If people believed it, why shouldn’t I just do it? At least that way, I’d get to enjoy the benefits of having sex with three amazing men instead of just hearing that I was doing it.

Definitely something to think about, I decided as my appetite returned.

Chapter twenty-one

Logan

Iwatched as the ball sailed through the air, a perfect spiral soaring above the heads of the other team until it dropped perfectly into Porter’s waiting hands. Three steps later had him in the end zone just as the clock ticked down to zero. The stands erupted and I threw my hands in the air, joining the rest of my team in shouting while the scoreboard confirmed that we’d just won.

Some people liked blowout games where their team was so far ahead that even the third-string got to play. Not me. I loved games like tonight where we all had to be at our best, fighting for every inch, never knowing which team would be ahead when the buzzer sounded. And to top it off, I’d had the best game of my life. If I never played again, I’d be happy to have this one be the one that defined my career.

The excitement carried us into the locker room where Coach confirmed what we all knew—we’d been epic tonight.

“I don’t do this after every win,” he added, “but tonight, there’s one person who deserves to be singled out, not only for how he played, but for the leadership he’s shown.” Coach came over tome and held out the game ball. “Great work tonight, Carter. Keep it up and you’ll be one of those players people are still talking about fifty years from now.”

“Thanks, Coach.” My smile stretched wide enough to make my face hurt.

Wanting to bask in the afterglow of tonight’s game, I moved slower than normal, to the point where Ethan and Ryan were the only other people left in the locker room and I could tell they were both getting antsy.

“I’m gonna grab a shower,” I said as I stripped off the last of my clothes. “I’ll meet you guys at the party if you don’t want to wait.”

“That shower might be a bit longer than you planned.”

Amelia’s voice had me spinning around, too surprised to even think of grabbing something to cover up my junk. Not that she hadn’t seen it before, but the context was definitely different.

“You can put your clothes over there so they won’t get wet,” Ethan said to her with a grin.

“Thanks.” She squeezed Ethan’s arm as she passed him and then did the same for Ryan. “Do you guys think you can stick around outside the door?”

“We’ll make sure no one comes in,” Ryan promised. He glanced at me. “But no promises if you make her scream too loud.”

Amelia flushed but kept her eyes on me as the guys left. Pulling off her dress, she hung it up where Ethan had told her and then did the same with the pale pink bra and panties she was wearing underneath.

I swallowed hard as she walked toward me. I’d seen her pussy up close and personal, but I hadn’t seen her naked. She was so fucking perfect that my cock ached. In the time it took her to undress, I’d gone from completely soft to fully erect, and nowI gripped the base of my shaft tight to keep from embarrassing myself.

And then a thought hit me.

“I’m probably going to kick myself for this,” I said, my voice rough. “But do you have a condom? I just remembered that I haven’t replaced the one that used to be in my wallet.”

She froze, something like horror in her eyes.

For a moment, I thought it was because she didn’t have a condom, but then I realized what I’d said.

“Oh, shit. Sorry. No. It’s not what you think.” For someone who was usually really good at talking to women, I’d royally fucked this up. “After you and I—after the library, I checked the condom in my wallet and realized it was expired. I threw it away and meant to replace it in case something like this happened. But I forgot.”

Her expression eased into a soft smile and she started walking toward me again. “Well, the way I see it, we have three choices. One, I can go ask Ryan and Ethan if they have any. Two, we can do some things that don’t necessarily need a condom.”

“And three?” My heartbeat thudded in my ears.

“I’m on the pill and I’m clean.” She stopped within arm’s reach. “Ethan and I used condoms, but Ryan and I didn’t. I trust you to decide what you’re comfortable with.”
