“Indeed. And I myself am a man of zero wastes. All bad energies are merely corrupted forms of good energies, therefore finding a...cleanse or purge is hyper-critical in this regard.”

Nidev was more interested in giving Zodak the ability to also use these dark energies offensively in situations where self-defense required a more direct approach. But being a man opposed to all forms of violence the way he was, he withheld it.

He eyed the troubled look on his friend. “Another problem?”

David crossed his arms on the table, moving his coffee cup as he did. “I’m just not sure how to locate him.”

“We can find him.”

He narrowed his brows, curious. “How?”

“The same way we found you. The Dreamscape.”

Nidev smiled at the eager light in his gaze. “You mentioned a program, is this what you dazzle my ears with?”

“It is. And due to the urgency of our situation, I’ll give you a tour via a demonstration. We’ll use finding your doctor as an introduction to our methods.”

“WHO’S GOING TO DO THEactual telling?” Harlow wondered, eyeing all of them, ready to rip this fucking band-aid off in one go.

“Maybe I should,” Pain said. “I’m her husband.”

“Fuck, I need that phrase on a mug,” Kult said, eyeing their brother.

“I think I should tell her,” Quantum said. “I’m the one who spoke the lie.”

“Maybe we could explain how this happened before telling her what actually happened,” Sync thought as Harlow’s phone buzzed in his pocket.

“Better not be him,” he said, pulling it out.

“Who?” Kult asked.

“Youknow who, Sir Fuck Fingers.”

“He’s stuck in a suit of armor,” Kult reminded him.

“Sure, he is.” Harlow stared at his phone, putting nothing past him at this point. “Dr.Ubaldois texting me?” He eyed all of them. “How would he possibly have this number?” He suddenly signed the letters H-A-N-D-Y.

“Not possible,” Quantum positively dismissed.

“Well neither is that,” he whispered, pointing at the phone as he texted back,Prove it, JACKOFF.He shoved the phone back in his pocket. “Unbelievable.”

“It’snotHandy,” Quantum repeated. “So do we agree that I should tell her?”

“What about explaining first?” Atlas wondered. “I kind of like that idea.”

“I like rip off the band-aid method,” Harlow said.

“Well,” Kult reasoned. “Right now, she’s thinking she’s having a miscarriage and Pain’s going to be devastated.” He aimed his stare at Harlow when his phone buzzed.

“You hear that?”

“I do,” he said quietly. “Would you mind turning it off while we discuss exactly how to decimate the heart, mind, and soul of the woman we all need to protect? Prettyplease? With your cut-off dick and a cherry on top?”

He pulled it from his pocket and turned it off, showing him the screen. “It’s off. Just like you.”

“How about we offer her the choice?” Atlas suggested.

“I can’t feel a single thing in regard to her,” Quantum said, amazed. “It’s as though our link never existed.”
