“I feel slightly insane for liking that as much as I did,” I admit breathlessly. Dean chuckles and pulls out of me before helping me off the railing.
I look past Dean to see Lance and Mason standing in the doorway to the balcony, smiling. I laugh, and Dean turns around to see that they are watching us. “If you kill her by accident, I’m not covering for you,” Mason says.
“So only if it’s intentional then?” Dean asks.
“I’m going to the bathroom,” I laugh. Before I step past Mason and Lance, Mason stops me so that he can gently kiss me.
“Good morning,” he says with a smile.
“Morning,” I say before turning so I can kiss Lance. “This feels so normal.”
“Good,” he says. “Go get cleaned up and we can go get some breakfast.”
“Okay,” I say happily. I go to the bag that Stacy had packed for us and get out my leggings and T-shirt before going to the bathroom. I clean up and get dressed but I hear panicked voices outside the door as I am going to walk out.
“What’s going on, Todd?” Lance asks. I can hear the confusion in his voice.
“Where is she?” Stacy asks, just as panicked.
“Bathroom. What is y’all’s problem?” Dean asks. I open the door to see Todd grab a chair and move it to the corner of the room by the door.
“What’s wrong?” I ask.
“The others are coming up. We need to get her home. Now,” Stacy says to the guys.
“What’s wrong?” I ask again.
“What others, Stacy?” Mason asks. He sounds just as irritated as I feel.
“Fuck,” Todd says as he yanks the smoke detector from the wall.
“If I have to ask one more fucking time what’s wrong, I’m gonna throw someone off the balcony,” I say.
Todd sighs and gets off the chair before walking over to the desk in the corner. He pulls something from the smoke detector and sets it on the desk.
“Oh no,” Mason says quietly. “You better be fucking joking, Todd.”
“No. Stacy found the video link on Facebook,” he says.
“How many people have seen it?” Dean asks. He looks more than just mad. He looks irate.
“Last I checked, five million in the last eight hours,” Stacy says.
“Will someone please explain,” I ask. A knock at the door has everyone ignoring me again. Lance opens the door and suddenly our entire friend group is in the hotel room.
“Where is your phone?” Todd asks.
“It’s off. It’s in my bag,” I say.
“Don’t turn it on. Okay?” he says.
“I’m not listening to anything until someone tells me what the fuck is going on,” I say.
“Please tell me what’s going on,” I say. Todd taps on his phone for a moment before handing it to Dean.
“Son of a bitch,” he barks after looking at the screen for just a few moments. He hands the phone to Mason so that he and Lance can see.
“Is there sound to this?” Lance asks, seething.
