“There is a jetted bathtub. That should help you relax,” Mason says as he leans down and kisses my thigh.

“We ordered food a few minutes ago. You can eat before or after.”

“I like sitting here,” I mumble.

“You just gonna sleep all evening?” Lance asks, chuckling.

“You only have yourselves to blame.”

“Oh?” Dean asks.

“Mhmm. You three are… crazy,” I say.

“That’s not what you were going to say, was it?” Lance asks.

“No. I was going to say you all fuck like beasts,” I say, and they all chuckle.

“Sit up here, and look at me,” Lance says, nudging me.

I sit up and they all look worried. “What’s wrong?” I frown.

“Nothing. You were just out of it for nearly an hour,” Lance says.

“I was and still am tired,” I say. “I’m okay.”

“I trust you,” Lance says.

“Can I ask something that I know I have no business asking?”

“Go for it,” he says.

“Every time you had Angela over, she was gone within minutes of you guys… wrapping things up. Why?”

“Well…” he starts. “Angela was just someone who scratched an inch, so to speak. She knew from the beginning, but it was never going to be anything more than sex. She knew that once everything was done that she was to leave. Only recently has she pushed that point and tried to force a relationship.”

“She tried to say the condom broke, and she was pregnant,” Dean says.

“You are all sterile now since you’ve had the vasectomy though,” I say. “Does she not know about that?”

“No,” he says. “Very few people know.”

“Why?”

“Because people tend to judge you when you don’t want kids. That’s why you don’t really tell anyone,” Mason says.

“Yeah,” I agree. No one but them know that I don’t want kids. I like kids, I just don’t want any of my own. I’ve never wanted any. My parents are going to be severely disappointed to find out that I’m not going to have any kids. A knock on the door has Mason standing.

“Okay. Food then bath,” Lance says.

“Food sounds nice,” I admit.

Chapter seven

Sadie

After eating, I tooka bath and laid down in bed with the guys with nothing but Mason’s shirt on. I fell asleep in record time but now it’s six in the morning and I’m wide awake. I didn’t want to wake the guys, so I snuck out of bed and went to stand on the balcony.

It’s a beautiful morning. I have my elbows on the railing of the balcony looking out over the city. I usually don’t like the city, but from this angle, everything looks peaceful. “Good morning, Beautiful,” Dean says before wrapping his arms around my waist and kissing my neck.
