“Our passes areall access;you know that right?”

I didn’t.

I shake my head.

“You really should look at things more closely, yes they are all access.”

I think about it for a second. I doubt anyone will actually let me back there, but it doesn’t hurt to try, right? I can always just say I got lost if anyone questions me.

“Fine.”

There’s only a handful of minutes left of the period so I rush to the elevator that has access to the tunnel. We may have scoped out the area earlier which is how I know where to go. There’s a couple staff members standing at the entrance, but once I show them my pass, they let me through without a problem.

Rushing through the tunnel I get to the end where I assume is the locker room. I cautiously peek in where I see Vince has already taken off his jersey and gear and is now pulling off his sweat soaked t-shirt, he was wearing underneath.

I should turn around, and leave. I know I’m not supposed to be back this far, and I’ll probably end up kicked out of the entire game.

“Chandler?”

“I was just leaving,” I tell him, but he comes over and grabs my arm, pulling me back in.

“No, you’re not.” He lets go of my arm, but I realize now, how close we are and that he’s shirtless, sweaty, and radiating so much body heat I feel like I’m standing in front of a furnace. I feel like I should take a step back, but I can’t bring myself to do it.

“I just wanted to see if you’re okay after that fight.”

He looks down at his bloody knuckles on his right hand and smirks. “Yeah, I’m fine. I don’t usually fight, just so you know, but if the other guy starts it then I will.”

I take his hand in mine to get a better look at the broken skin there. “It was kind of hot, though,” I murmur.

He takes his hand back and hooks his finger under my chin so I’m forced to look up into his hypnotizing blue eyes. “And what did you think about the rest of the game?”

I shrug, “It was okay.”

“Just okay?”

Has he gotten closer to me?

“Yeah, you know it was kind of boring until you got hit,” I taunt.

“Are you a little bloodthirsty?”

Yes, he’s definitely closer now.

His hand moves from my jaw to the back of my neck, slowly. My breath hitches when I try to tease him some more.

“Maybe I like you a little violent.”

He’s so close now, our chests are grazing each other with each breath we take, lips are less than an inch apart, and his hand has tightened slightly in the hair at the base of my neck.

“You like it rough, baby?” He’s so close, his breath is on my lips as he speaks.

“Find out,” I breathe out right as his lips land on mine.

His tongue runs along the seam of my lips, and I open to let him in instantly. He groans into my mouth, deepening the kiss. I’m pulled against his hard muscular chest, and I wrap my arms around his neck to pull him down toward me.

I lick at his tongue as it enters my mouth, and he pulls me impossibly tighter against his body. The padding on his legs makes it impossible to feel more than just his chest, but I don’t care as he kisses me like his life depends on it.

In the distance I hear the announcement that there is one minute left in the period. I expect Vince to pull away, but he doesn’t. It’s like the warning fuels him to kiss me harder. His hand moves further into my hair, pulling tight, angling my head exactly how he wants me while he dominates my mouth. I moan and he holds me hard against him with his other arm wrapped around my waist. I can barely breathe, but I don’t care. He can suffocate me with his kiss, and I’ll still come back for more.
