Page 39 of German

Pouting, I bent at the waist, my skirt rising just over backside as I provocatively traced the outline of my glossy boot with the tip of my painted finger.“You don’t like them on me?”

I could see German wrestling with his inner demons before he calmed them enough to speak.“Like, has nothing to do with it, Maddy.”

“Lexi,” I corrected, blinking my false eyelashes up at him seductively.“I’m in character, remember?”

“You’re kidding me, right?”German said, his eyes straying to my chest, then back to my lips, which seemed to hold a sudden fascination for him.

“I’m in character,” I explained.“You told me I had to pretend to be a Club girl.So I came up with a persona and a backstory for my difficult childhood.”

“You were a theater kid, weren’t you?”German accused.

Looking away guiltily, I said, “Maybe.”

“Lord help me, Maddy!”German scrubbed a hand down his tired face.

Stomping my boot, I corrected him.“Lexi!Don’t get it wrong or you’re going to blow our cover!”

“What the hell are you talking about?”German groused.“I’m not undercover.I’m actually in an MC!”

Deciding I was going to use every trick in the book to make him go along with my little game, I cozied up next to him and cooed, “You want to keep me safe, don’t you, German?”

His eyes sharpened at my underhanded tactic.“Dressed like that at the Raiders Clubhouse?”He shook his head and gripped my waist.“It might just be easier calling you Madelyn Framingham and parading you around your hometown for everyone, including your kidnappers, to see.”

“Did I get the outfit wrong then?”I asked, suddenly feeling very self-conscious.“In my head, it all worked together so nicely.”

German blew out a breath.“Christ, no!You got everything fucking right.I just,” he swallowed and said, “your legs look so long and your skirt so short in those boots. Why don’t you go change into the pants I bought you?”

This man was forever trying to dress me in pants!“The skirt doesn’t look good on me?”Growing bold, I took his hands and ran them down the length of my sides.“It’s not that short. Is it?”

His eyes darkened with lust as his long fingers ran up and over my rear end.Since there was so little material to my skirt, his hands were against my bare skin in no time.Moving down my thighs, he paused, then skimmed them back up and under my hem. When he reached my ass, he cupped the pale globes and gave them a harsh squeeze.

My eyes shuttered closed as he massaged my flesh, pulling it hard against the steel trapped in his jeans.I moaned, widening my stance so he could have as much access to me as he wanted.

“Fuck, Maddy!”he growled, giving my ass a soft slap.“You feel so good right now. What are you doing to me?”

Nuzzling his neck, I reminded him, “Whatever you want, German.Whatever you want.”

I didn’t care if it was now, later, or all night.I wanted this man.Whatever way, or however he wanted me, I was all in.

A sharp knock reminded us both that Dozer was waiting outside.“You want me to just meet you guys there?”he called through the paper-thin door.

“No.We’ll be right out,” German called back.Taking one last look at my outfit, he shook his head and handed me my new leather coat.

“Put this on.It might be warm out, but the minute we get on the road, you’ll need this to protect your skin from the wind.”

Feeling lust-drunk, I did as I was told.Taking my hand, German led me outside and locked our Motel door behind him.

Dozer was standing by his bike, texting and smoking a cigarette. When he saw us emerge, he crushed it on the pavement.“Let’s head out.”

German fitted me with my helmet before he put on his own.Once we were ready, he climbed on the bike and I stepped on behind him.If I’d thought this skirt was short in the store on the mannequin, I hadn’t considered what it would look like straddling a motorcycle. It was practically nonexistent. And the fact that I was wearing only a thong underneath it, didn’t help matters any.

Refusing the blush threatening to mottle my fair skin, I reminded myself that Lexi didn’t give a fuck! She liked how short it was.How her skin would be exposed to the cool night air.And she would apologize to absolutely nobody if it rode up while she sat behind her man on his bike!

Flying through the backroads, I wrapped my arms around German’s middle and leaned into his back. This felt so safe, so right, I never wanted the moment to end. But, all too soon, it did.Coming around the bend, Dozer flashed his left turn signal and cut onto a narrow dirt road leading to the Raiders Clubhouse.

Nervous butterflies began to beat inside my stomach and chest, desperate for an exit.Quieting the noise in my head, I reminded myself I was with German.Nothing bad could happen to me while we were together.Lexi or Maddy, he’d always keep me safe.

Parking his bike along a row of bikes, we dismounted and I unstrapped my helmet.Fluffing my hair, I turned to him and whispered, “How do I look?”
