“No.” Nicholas looked between Ida and Lilly. “What is it? What will help her? We’ll do anything, Ida. We will go anywhere, pay anything.”

She gave him a sweet, pitiful smile. “It’s not a thing you can just go get or buy, hun. It’s more than that.”

“Please, Ida,” I pleaded with her. “Tell us. We will make it happen.”

“I’m afraid you two,” she gestured between my twin and me, “cannot do a thing for her in this manner. You’ve done your part.” She looked at our older brother, who was still standing near the elevator, unmoving, a complex expression on his face.

“It’s you she needs,” Ida revealed as she looked at me.

I’d known it the moment Lillian collapsed against me in the crowd. My touch, my voice, had given her enough to wake up from the initial shock of everything, but once I placed her back on the ground to be mauled by my brothers, her time began ticking again.

Their essence had done wonders for her, sure, but from what Nicholas told us about the encounter at the top of the mountain, she’d spent every bit of it she had. Our mother had been right the day she visited Lillian. The twins had been enough then, but they weren’t enough anymore.

She needed more.

She needed me.

As I watched Ida examine her, I was already anticipating her answer.

I’d thought about this moment since I’d first met Lillian, but I never imagined it would be like this. This is not how I wanted it to be, but there was no other way. She was having such a hard time staying awake.

What if she didn’t even want this, though? What if she’d rather wither away than let me give her what she needed? What if she’d rather die than be with the guy who’d been so fucking cruel to her, denying her and pushing her away this whole time?

Ida turned back to the twins. “There are alternatives that can help temporarily, but I have no idea how long th—”

“I’ll do it.” Three pairs of eyes shot to me.

Ida went to open her mouth.

“I said, I’ll do it.” I walked over to our girl.

I laughed at myself.Ourgirl. Imagine that. I never thought I’d be sharing a girl with my younger brothers, yet here I was, about to bond myself to her, the last one to do so, in an irreversible way.

I brushed a piece of hair from her face, and she moved, a tiny exhale escaping from her parted lips. I let my hand drift down her cheek to her jaw and then to her neck.

Wake up, princess. Please. I need to know you’re okay.

She shifted her body on the couch as if she’d heard me.

Please, princess. I’m begging you.

She didn’t move at first, but then I saw the corner of her mouth twitch upward.

Begging? Doesn’t sound like begging yet.The voice in my head was light and playful.

I breathed out a laugh and bit my lip, amused with her. I didn’t think about the people still in the room with us as I leaned down to her ear and whispered, “I’m begging you, princess. Wake up.” I licked her earlobe and felt her shiver. “I promise I’ll make it worth your time… if you let me.”

She didn’t budge, not even cracking a smile. She was going to make me work for it, as she should have, and I was her willing victim.

“Please wake up. I want to worship that perfect little body of yours until you’re screaming my name. I want to bury my face between your thighs until you’re shaking beneath me. I want tostuff you so full of my cock, you won’t be able to leave my bed for days. I’m begging you, Lillian,” I drew out her name. “Please, let me have you. Let me give myself to you. All of me. I’ll do anything.”

I leaned up in time to see one of her eyes pop open lazily. “Anything?”

I nodded. “Anything.”
